The breakfast supplies were more than adequate for our stay. All very good! Delicious. Hosts were great. Lovely patio to sit and watch the birds. Didn’t use the pool or tennis court.

Location was excellent. Once inside the front door, the space is really refreshing. Don't let the exterior (which is lovely, but weatherboard) put you off. The whole space was very clean and everything we needed provided.

Absolutely stunning location. Rooms were super-luxurious, very clean, comfy beds & pillows, stunning bathroom... And, the view!!!!!!! A bonus (if we had time) would have been visiting the fabulous restaurant. Also, there was a BBQ with heater on the balcony, dish-drawer dishwasher, microwave, and plenty of crockery if you wanted to self-cater. The accommodation was incredible! Highly recommend this stunning romantic location!

Amazing people, wines and food. The Cube was an experience and the food at d'Terry's on the verandah was amazing.
We did a tour with "Affordable Tours with G" which was great, the wines are lovely and the winemakers very chatty! Lunch at the Tap House was really good as well - great tasting options (if you need a break from wine) and the best pizza I've had in a long time.
Dinner at Star of Greece well worth it as food and service is fantastic.

McLaren Vale is a must to visit when visiting Adelaide, because of its soil it has without a doubt the best wines in South Australia. Three days was not enough time to spend in this region to see and taste the wonders here. We would highly recommend visiting McLaren Vale as a must-see destination.

I live close by but we had a family wedding just outside McLaren Vale. It is such a lovely spot - truly lovely place to visit and stay - lots of places to visit, lots of wineries. It is so worth the trip and if you can stay for a few days - it will be worth it. Great place to base yourself for a look around the area.

This is a lovely little town and we enjoy going down and checking out the coffee shops and places to have lunch. We enjoy the Information Centre which has a beautiful outdoor undercover setting to sit and have a delightful lunch in the sun.

The wines in McLaren Vale are great.
The wines in McLaren Vale are great. We loved Samuel's Gorge, Kays and Fox Creek wineries. Most wineries charge for tasting the wines but that cost is removed if you purchase wine. The wineries also allow two people to share a tasting because of the issue of drink driving.
There are bus tours available in the area but we had our own car.
Eating can be tricky because many places are only open Thurs, Friday, Sat and Sunday. It is probably a good idea to check at the Visitors' centre to find out what is open when you are there. We ate at the Salopian Inn, Harry's Deli (Wirra Wirra winery), The Currant Shed and Pizzatecca and would recommend them all.
Everything, we loved the log cabin setting amongst the vineyards, the view was amazing the spa was perfect to relaxing relax and unwind in, our host were fantastic and provided us with a lovely bottle of local wine and morning breakfast with the best mulberry yoghurt mix-in we have ever had (fresh from the mulberry tree outside im guessing!) it was devine!!! All in all we had a amazing romantic weekend away in McLaren Vale :)
We felt welcomed from the moment that we arrived. Our family stayed in two rooms - the Studio and the Retreat. Both rooms were clean, spacious, very comfortable and well provisioned with lots of breakfast supplies. Wine and Roses B&B is well located, just a short drive from McLaren Vale wineries, and 45-minute drive into Adelaide.
Beautiful setting and accommodation. Excellent information from our host. Very close to a lot of wineries and a distillery. Would stay here again if I was going to SA.
We had our dog with us and he loved how much open (and fenced in) space there was. For our next trip to SA we plan on staying here for the duration.
It was very spacious and clean, the full kitchen was very handy and the loungeroom chair/beds were very comfortable. The bathrooms were really nice and the houses were right on the main street of McLaren vale, within walking distance of some of the amazing cellar doors. The hosts were lovely and very responsive.
An absolutely beautiful cottage in McLaren Vale close to the pub and MV wineries. Our hosts Nick and Amanda left us a lovely breakfast box and bottle of local red. We had a great time and would definitely stay there again!
Location was fantastic being right in the middle of the McLaren Vale and less than 5 km to many of the better wineries. The fireplaces were a highlight and the hosts were very friendly and considerate.
location is perfect for exploring McLaren Vale.
The winery staff were friendly and knowledgeable.
unfortunately the restaurant was closed whilst we were there but I would have liked to try their food.
Great location, walking distance to main street. Great little trail at the end of the street that leads into McLaren Vale restaurants and supermarket. Very nice breakfast provisions left for us.
Very comfortable and as advertised in a central part of the McLaren Vale vineyards. Paul, the host was very response and we would recommend if you wanted a cottage with old world charm.
nice cottage in a good convenient location. Private homely feel. Handy having the cellar door/restaurant next door for food n drinks. All you need for a relaxing stay in Mclaren Vale.
Large house very clean everything you could need . Very quiet area perfectly situated in mclaren vale. Good parking and outdoor space. Complementary bottle of wine very nice touch
The room was spacious, clean and beds were very comfortable.
Air conditioning was good and kept us comfortable
Was close enough to town center and restaurants to walk there.
Stunning old renovated cottage situated in an excellent position. Loved the fire with plenty of wood, especially as the weather was so cold! Would stay again :)
