Wonderful stay at Maranatha Country House. The hosts were delightful and the bedrooms gorgeous. Breakfast was delicious and served in the light and pretty conservatory. A lot of love has gone into this family property (which also has an interesting history). The surrounding gardens are lovely. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Blarney made a great post for us to adventure around the south of Ireland. We spent 5 days here bouncing from Cork to the coast and in between. It is small and quiet but charming. There is plenty to visit in the town so we did spend a whole day here as well visiting the castle and local shops.

Blarney is a wonderful little town.
Blarney is a wonderful little town. We enjoyed eating at Muskerry Arms Bar and Christy's Bar while we were there. Everything was walkable and felt very safe. We also bought a few items from Blarney Woolen Mills. This store offered the most Irish wool clothing of anywhere we saw throughout our tour of the country.
We also visited Blarney Castle and grounds. The gardens around Blarney Castle are incredible. There is so much more to see here than we expected. Our trip was in March, so we needed to wear a light winter jacket, but that also meant there were no lines for kissing the stone and touring the castle.

The hotel was very clean and the staff were friendly. However, facilities were poor with no on-site restaurant after 4pm, reception area small, food only available in the pub next door. Fine for a business trip but not for a holiday, very basic.

It is a fab hotel but there is something going on with the lift. Every time we got into the lift there was a really bad smell. It smelt like sewage . When we were leaving that morning it was really bad. Other than that l had no complaints . Very happy.

The hotel was lovely.
The hotel was lovely. I was there during a very warm spell so opened the window for air. Unfortunately since my room also overlooked the parking lot, there was noise and light pollution. This would not have been a problem though, but for the open windows.

Lots to see here in addition to the castle.
Lots to see here in addition to the castle. There was no wait line to see the stone and I still spent about two hours looking around the castle and grounds. Note there is a considerable climb up a tight, circular, old stone staircase to get to the stone! But you can see most of the castle without climbing.
we really enjoyed our stay and our hosts went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. rooms were clean and comfortable, the house was in a great location close to Blarney village and castle and an easy drive to Cork, Kinsale and Cobh. Breakfast was generous, fresh and varied. We would definitely recommend. Thanks again for making us so welcome and for all the extra details especially over the New Year.
Our only regret was we were not able to stay longer! This hotel, town and the people were absolutely amazing! We spent 9 days in Ireland and traveled around to several towns, the staff and residents of Blarney were the most friendly, interactive and helpful of all the places we visited. The food was absolutely outstanding at the Blarney Castle Hotel and the room was beautiful! We will absolutely be back-it was absolutely lovely!
Blarney is a stunning village,A good crack food amazing in the hotel rooms very cosy staff fabulous ,We also enjoyed muskery arms bar for food and drinks beautiful scenery stunning walks, blarney castle is more than amazing,Would definitely recommend for family Stays,I'd have to say there's nothing to dislike about blarney, It would suit everyone or any occasion would definitely go back for another stay .😊😊
We absolutely loved everything about this hotel! It was located in the heart of the city and we could easily walk to all of the locations that we wanted to visit! We wanted to visit the Blarney Castle, which was a simple 10 minute walk from our hotel. The staff was super nice and the rooms were huge! We also loved the pub that was on the premises and the breakfast was delicious as well.
The location was excellent. 5 minute drive from the Castle and Blarney Village.
Breakfast was perfect and filled us for the whole day!
Siobhan was the perfect hostess, extremely helpful with regards to places to eat in the evening and genuinely interested in us and our trip.
Will be back there again on our next trip to the area.
Book early. So the suite of 2 bedrooms came available unexpectadly, so we were lucky. Hotels in cork were 400 for 1 night for one bedroom and we got 2 with à kitchionette. The beds are comfy, it has its own door, parking and the host vicky leàves you alone. Its close to a garage wìth hot food which opens at 6am in blarnèy
Great stay. Spacious, comfortable, spotless room.
Had dinner in Christys bar next door, excellent service/food and very friendly staff.
The night porter in the hotel was great and very accommodating!
Nice breakfast with a great selection.
Highly recommend Blarney Woollen Mills Hotel and will keep returning.
Staff was very accomodating and answered all our questions. The food in the restaurant was excellent . The music was very entertaining and my girlfriend said she coukd not hear it when she went back to the room. A 5 minute walk to the Blarney Castle and Blarney Woolen Mills.
beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Nothing was too much trouble for Ian and his amazing staff.
The quality of the food and drink was excellent.
Breakfast was superb and served in a beautiful dining area.
We will definitely be returning to Blarney Castle Hotel
Best place to sleep and stay in the entire blarney county. Maranatha house has probably the most comfortable bed I ever slept with. The food was awesome and the service is top notch.
If you need to stay near blarney or cork, this is the place.
Very clean and comfortable. I was traveling alone and felt safe. Convenient to town and perfect for being the first to arrive at Blarney Castle and skip the lines. A full hot breakfast is not offered but you can bring your own food and store.
This was our favorite B&B during our 12 day trip to Ireland. Breakfast was fabulous, the bed was pillow soft, but we were blown away with the classic setting and warm hospitality. Hands down the best B&B in all of Ireland. Must stay!
Everything. The room, breakfast and hosts were exceptional. The location was great or those who want to visit Blarney Castle, Cork, Kinsale and Cobh. Just love it, don't miss it.
This property was perfect for a night stay over before heading into Dublin. The best part was the food, and the people. Not to mention the close proximity to Blarney castle.
Beautiful hotel, comfortable room, excellent shower. Restaurants had excellent food. Great location to Blarney, Cobh & Cork. Very friendly and helpful staff.
