We went as a group and we loved the ryokan. It was very spacious, everything was very clean, and it was conveniently located near the bus station, the train station, and the city center where most of the shopping takes place. The rooms were the most spacious we stayed in throughout Japan, and the staff were all very kind. I would definitely stay here again.

El Oyado Koto No Yume se encuentra a solo 2 minutos a pie de la estación de Takayama y ofrece habitaciones de estilo japonés con un toque colorido. Location was amazing- walking distance from the station and from the old town. The place was beautiful, and the rooms had everything. Futons were very comfy. The onsen was the best I tried so far (but I haven’t tried a lot). We did the private bath, and it was really nice. They also lend you yukatas to wear around the ryokan. And the staff were very friendly, hospitable and helpful!

El Ryokan Hostel K's House ocupa un edificio de 100 años de antigüedad declarado bien cultural tangible situado en Shizuoka, a 7 minutos a pie de la estación de trenes JR Ito. El hostel es increíble. Una experiencia tradicional japonesa inolvidable. Fuimos a habitación compartida y hubo un problema con un huésped que llegó borracho, pero el personal del hotel lo resolvió rapidísimo y muy amablemente nos dieron otra habitación. El onsen es soñado. Me metí cuando no había gente y pude disfrutarlo yo sola. Incluso llovió y nos dieron paraguas y un aparato para secar las zapatillas. Super atentos. Vayan si o si!!

The summary - this Hotel is definitely the highlight point of our whole 2024 journey through Japan. For context - it's the third time we are in this country and this time we've been traveling for a whole month. If you have a chance to go here - don't hesitate. This is the hotel to enjoy the culture and cuisine most conveniently. As for the details: Japanese-Western Room with Hot Spring Bath - exceeded all of my expectations several times. Just wow, this new, this modern yet with a very clear Japanese style, and the second wow for all of the space, such a luxury! The wood, the details, the quality, impeccable cleanness. The bath deserved its own wow. So convenient, with regulated heat and a wide window with an option to open it and keep privacy. The staff speaks English very well. Lots of additional perks like simple but free "nighttime ramen", beverages, snacks, and sake. Great onsen space with additional private but free spots to enjoy it for couples, kids, and friends. Well managed, friendly. And the building itself - the amazingly decorated corridors, the lamps, the floors, the info tables, and the signs - I've enjoyed every inch of them. Well done with the whole design and keeping it in such a great shape. We've had half board options - high-quality Kaiseki for breakfast and Shabu-Shabu or Yakiniku for dinner. The hotel offers helpful transfer, convenient for large travel bag users. Without them - it's pretty close to the bus station. So many things I liked, but the last one to mention is the view from our restaurant counter, it really looks like a picture, but it's the mindblowing reality.

Syukaen Yunohanazen ofrece alojamiento 4 estrellas en Atami, a 14 minutos a pie de Playa Atami Sun y a 27 km de Estación Hakone-Yumoto. Two different hot spring baths, nice spread of food served to room for breakfast and dinner. Friendly staff but a bit weak on speaking English.

Hakuunsou está ubicado en Takayama, a 48 km de Estación Takayama y a 26 km de Kamikochi. Very friendly host. Amazing outdoor private onsen. Hida beef dinner was perfect.

Iroriyado Hidaya está ubicado en Takayama, a 18 minutos a pie de Estación Takayama, y tiene alojamiento con un jardín, estacionamiento privado gratis y salón compartido. This is a really beautiful place to stay, if you want an authentic experience you must stay here. The accommodation itself is very nice and well equipped, and the staff is very nice, I would love to come back to this paradise!
