Wonderful, Beautiful food, very accommodating, the dining experience was more elaborate and elegant than expected as we made a last minute booking. Morning coffee, baths and stunning terrace overlooking the bridge was incredible.

The hotel itself is in a stunning location with a magnificent view of Amanohashidate and the sea. The hotel is incredible! Everything is very clean, everything is new, and the hotel staff is amazing, responsive, and kind. Breakfasts are a separate delight! If you've ever dreamed of completely immersing yourself in Japanese beauty, culture, and solitude, I definitely recommend this place. The public onsen at the hotel is very beautiful, the one in my room is also excellent. The views are simply incredible! During my big trip to Japan, this was the best place in terms of feeling. Thank you very much for an amazing holiday🫶🏼

Make sure your room specifies that you have a hotspring outdoor pool. Not all rooms have them. But it is a must have. Absolutely made our trip memorable. Amazing room, everything high class but definitely the private pool was epic.

This place is a treat. It is wonderfully historical, and quite conveniently located. The walk to Amanohashidate is about half an hour, and I believe there are buses. Shopping centre and restaurants nearby. The hosts were kind and welcoming, and everyone in the town was extremely friendly toward a lone stranger. Plenty of charming shrines and temples around. It felt like the movie Spirited Away without the creepy parts.

The room was lovely and spacious, and the ocean view was so beautiful especially with the birds flying by. The staff were helpful and the cleaning staff especially were very friendly. The hot springs in the hotel made the quite expensive one night cost much more worth it. The hotel is also right by the station which was very important for me.

It was my first time in a ryokan and I loved to stay there. Sadly it was only for one night. Since the building is old the sanitaries are old fashioned as well, but this adds to the charme of the ryokan in my opinion. The garden view was beautiful and the onsen was very relaxing. The elderly lady at the reception was extraordinarily kind. I can highly recommend staying there, I came here after my trip to Amanohashidate, it is only one station away by train.

This place is for those who want to try a very traditional Ryokan. Futons on tatami matting and a traditional onsen (shared hot tub). There is also a small hot tub in the room. The family have been running it for 13 generations. It is designated museum as they keep it as traditional as is possible. Our room gave onto a delightful Japanese garden just in from the coast and was very tranquil. This is not for people looking for modern conveniences.

The room was in good condition. I liked the fact that it was a Japanese tatami room and the yukata was prepared, making it fun for foreigners to travel. The table in the room was also large, so it was good to eat.
