I recommend having dinner at the Themparadu restaurant!!!

Saman makes everything happen and on top of that his wife is an amazing cook. We have spent a little over two weeks travelling across Sri Lanka and this was for sure our favourite place! Would definitely come back for longer to this place.

Everything and everywhere is spotlessly clean and maintained to very high standard. The room and bathroom were very well equipped and the shower was beautiful and warm. There is a lovely lounge room and outdoor area to share with the other guest (4 rooms in total). The owners are very friendly and even made us breakfast at 6:15 so we could catch an early train. It is literally a 5 minute walk to the train station so you don’t need transport.

The place is very authentic with beautiful views. The food is delicious Sri Lankan cuisine. The staff is genuinly helpful and friendly, and made our stay in Hatton even better. They arranged a trip to Aberdeen waterfall for us, and staffmember Dilan drove us there and was so helpful and sweet.
