Situated in Newtown, 5 minutes’ drive from Ballyvaughan and Galway Bay, The Waters Country House boasts over 40 acres of farmland at the foot of the Burren Hills. Ailwee Cave, also featuring an underground river and a waterfall, is only 3km from the property. This characterful property was full of quirks and personality. We really loved having access to common spaces (where we played some boardgames) and the owners kindly let some of our party stay late while the rest of us went horseback riding. They were able to accommodate my gluten allergy for breakfast, and my family members said the full Irish was amazing.

A hairdryer and ironing facilities are available upon request at the reception desk. Charming, cozy- everything you would expect from a B&B. Location was great, in a quiet neighborhood but still walking distance from the city center. Breakfast was delicious.

The team were all so welcoming and couldn’t have been more helpful! True Irish hospitality at its finest.
