The hotel was truly wonderful — the room view was absolutely breathtaking, exactly like the photos but even better, as if from a fairytale. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was incredibly delicious with a stunning restaurant view. Everything was perfect.

Atholl House is situated in Dunvegan and features a shared lounge. The property features free private parking and free WiFi. Everything. Warm welcome. Great stylish room and view from the room. Amazing quality of food. Comfy bed, clean space and huge fluffy towels to wrap yourself in. Huge thanks to Jennie and team for making this place so marvellous.

Set in Skeabost in the Isle of Skye region, 40 Bernisdale - The Sabhal offers accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. Rachael, our host, was friendly and very helpful. She provided us with an email about how to access the room and had provided some groceries to help us settle in. We loved the location and the freedom to walk out on the property to get excellent views of the water and surrounding mountains. We arrived during lambing season and had a great time watching the lambs with their mothers. The room was very comfortable and clean. An exceptional location to get away from the crowds.

Kinloch Lodge Hotel and Restaurant is a family-run former 17th-century hunting lodge, situated at the foot of a long private drive up Kinloch Hill on the shoreline of Loch Na Dal. Luxurious country decor and comfort, engaging staff and personal treatment, sophisticated and delicious food. Loved the historical connections.

Situated in Portree, Sidhean Dubha Holiday Home offers BBQ facilities, free WiFi, a kitchen, and a lounge. It is set in a building dating from 2005, 28 km from Talisker Distillery. Location was excellent. All facilities were available, very neat and clean property.

Situated on the picturesque Isle of Raasay, a 5-minute walk from the ferry terminal, Raasay House Hotel is nestled in a Georgian mansion with beautifully landscaped lawns. The hotel is fantastic, in a very nice place just in front of the sea. It's a traditional place, but very tasty and comfortable. Great breakfast, nice room, and nice views.

Occupying a former farmhouse 2 minutes from the harbour, Braeside Guest Rooms provides high-quality accommodation in Portree city centre, on the Isle of Skye. Location is great. Portree is not a big town, so everything is in a 3-minute walk radius. The room was excellent (the most comfortable we had in our trip through Scotland). You can feel there's great care and thoughtfulness that comes into hosting guests. The bed was comfortable and big enough for me and my friend to share. Very quiet place. There's a fan in the bedroom. The host kindly made a UK plug available for us (which we didn't use, but it was a nice gesture). Beds were made everyday while we were out exploring Isle of Skye. In the room, there was also surprisingly useful material about the Isle, where the host suggests restaurants, and where I found this fantastic app called Walkhighlands, with trail routes that can be downloaded and accessed offline.
