The hotel's location is excellent for those seeking tranquility. In the morning, you can take a peaceful walk in a truly stunning environment. There are some beautiful stables nearby, which add to the charm of the area. The breakfast is outstanding, and the views are absolutely breathtaking. A very charming little castle just above Lake Constance nestle in a beautiful garden, walking distance to the lake. The rooms a spacious and very clean, the bed very comfortable. Don't miss out on the excellent restaurant! The 4 course menu is an absolut must! Modern German kitchen from local produce. Delicious! The service is very friendly and accommodating! Same goes for the breakfast: very friendly service and local breads, marmalades and cheeses.

The room was very big. We only stayed one night but four people staying for longer It had its own kitchen. The bed was extremely comfortable. The property itself is beautiful.

Great location for hiking in Appenzell. 10 min drive from the main town with restaurants and supermarket. Beautiful views of the mountains. Very clean, and spacious rooms. Continental breakfast was extensive. Loved the homemade bread rolls and wide selection of teas. Would stay again if I hike in that area.
