The hotel is definitely an experience - the grounds are beautiful, the hotel is steeped in history but still offers modern amenities, and the pub (with home-brewed beers and home-distilled G&T on tap) just rounds off a wonderful stay. the breakfast was scrumptious, the hostess was so kind and well-organised, the walks to the river and the garden surrounds were so peaceful. The room was so comfortable and the staff were really accommodating. I even took my Small Dog, and the establishment is very pet friendly! I will be going back!
