Excellent location despite the online booking which showed the location on the beach. We were within walking distance of the Prom and beach. Medford itself is a middle sized city with all the stores you might wish for but not a lot of character that I could see in the downtown area. However, it makes an excellent affordable launching pad for exploring the nearby artisan colony/ Shakespeare festival in Ashland and the nearby wine country in surrounding areas. Astoria is a fun place!
