I stayed in Charlotte from Friday to Monday for a birthday celebration. Charlotte is walkable and lively. I would recommend to families, couples, and single travelers. The weather was great during our stay and we were able to try many restaurants, walk to rooftops, enjoy dinner with live music, and more. There are farmer's markets, workout classes, and many coffee shops to suit your tastes. Charlotte has something for all ages and lots of furry friends too!Guest review byAreliUnited States - 10.0
Very green and beautiful.
Very green and beautiful. There was a fabulous Arboretum that was free entry. The food choices are multi cultural and very good. There are children parks that are also lovely and well attended. The city for the most part is clean, great bar-b-q, beautiful azalea garden free to public. Pretty city, would love to come back even though long flight from CA.Guest review byChristinaUnited States - 8.0
Nice town
Nice town Chipotle was close by and Popeyes is in the immediate area of the hotel. It was a little difficult getting around, and I am guessing is because I was just visiting. But it is uncomfortable driving because they drive to fast behind you seeing that you are out of state...slow down Greensboro!Guest review byAnnieUnited States - 10.0

Asheville has so many things to do - it's a very inclusive arts, crafts and music community with a super cool vibe. It is truly different from anywhere else I've been and after 20+ years of visiting I still discover new things each time. Wonderful craft fairs, music festivals, art and craft galleries, restaurants (many Vegan and Vegetarian too:), entertainment, sooo many nature trails, hiking, biking, state and national forests, small towns, city events, too much to list. Of course the Omni Grove Park Inn and Biltmore estate are not to be missed. And the area could REALLY use the visitors and support after the big storm last year. They really made a comeback but appreciate the business (they are still making up for losses).Guest review byIreneUnited States - 10.0
I have visited Wilmington for the past 34 years.
I have visited Wilmington for the past 34 years. I am a life long resident on North Carolina and stumbled on Wilmington completely by accident while attending a conference in 1991 in Castle Hayne, I love riverfront cities like Charleston, Savannah, Mobile or even New Orleans for find the convenience of location to the beach and other amenities to be wonderful. I go there from Charlotte NC about3-4 times each year for 3 or 4 day getaways, and can never get enough.Guest review byMichaelUnited States - 10.0

We attended a baby shower but had family over the night before and the place was excellent and accomodated a 6 person get together/Dinner. Durham itself is great to explore,.. with the Duke Gardens, Golf courses and driving ranges, Downtown Durham YMCA for basketball, colleges, and a vibrant Art community.Guest review byKen - 10.0

Everything was awesome in Fayetteville from traveling around town to going to welcome center for information about the area was awesome. Traveling around was not as bad as being in Charleston SC. Less stressful. I'm looking forward to transitioning to Fayetteville.Guest review byTasha CUnited States - 6.0
Thank goodness we found Goombays Restaurant.
Thank goodness we found Goombays Restaurant. Without it, our stay in Kill Devil Hills would have been a total washout. Apart from the sunrise, which was awesome. We did visit the Wright Brothers Memorial Museam, which was informative.Guest review byKareno38United Kingdom - 10.0

I was only able to stay overnight. The front desk person was really nice and very helpful. I had already done everything online so all I needed to do when I arrived was gey my room keys and add my guest's name.Guest review bySallyUnited States - 10.0

We absolutely love floating the Ocanlufte river, the indigenous people and all the attractions. The hiking trails are amazingly beautiful and to be able to experience a close encounter with the elk is awesome! As for a great breakfast, Peter’s Pancake and Waffle House is the bomb! Sometimes you have to wait a bit but totally worth it! For dinner we usually grab a chicken dinner to go at the “All fried up” restaurant and take it back to our room to enjoy, but if you are looking for a great seafood restaurant, take a 14 mile trip to Sylvia to the Creekside Oyster house! Best seafood in N.C. In my opinion. If you enjoy hiking be sure to go to Bryson to the Deep creek hiking trails where you can see 3 different waterfalls , people tubing, and all sorts of beautiful nature all on the well maintained trails.Guest review byBorton
