We chose Unique Boutique Hotel as it is situated near the marina at walking distance to the centre as well as to several beach clubs and other attractions. The hotel has an amazing restaurant which is reasonably priced given the quality of the food, and especially compared to other restaurants around. During breakfast, full Turkish and English breakfasts are offered and both are amazing—so it is not your typical cheap/boring hotel breakfast. Our room was very clean and had a breathtaking view. But for us, what especially made the difference were the staff. Everyone working at this hotel are lovely and extremely nice while being professional. Whenever we had a question they were very fast to help, and with a huge smile on their faces :) We will definitely go back and we are recommending this hotel to anyone who wants to enjoy a calm, clean and relaxing holidays in the amazing Fethiye.Guest review byErdemBelgium

Review of Fethiye, Turkey Fethiye is one of those rare destinations that truly has something for everyone. From stunning natural beauty to rich history and warm local hospitality, our time here was nothing short of unforgettable. The turquoise coastline, especially around Ölüdeniz, is breathtaking—perfect for swimming, paragliding, or just relaxing by the beach. The Blue Lagoon is postcard-perfect, and the sunsets are spectacular. If you're into nature and hiking, the Lycian Way offers incredible trails with panoramic views of the sea and mountains. Fethiye town itself is lively yet relaxed, with authentic Turkish markets, a beautiful marina, and delicious restaurants serving everything from fresh seafood to traditional Turkish cuisine. The Tuesday market is a must-visit for local produce and handmade goods. We were also struck by the friendliness of the people—everyone we met was warm, welcoming, and happy to help. Whether you're exploring ancient ruins like the Amyntas Rock Tombs, taking a boat tour through the 12 Islands, or simply enjoying Turkish tea at a café, Fethiye offers an unforgettable mix of adventure, relaxation, and cultural charm. Ölüdeniz beach & lagoon and Belcekiz beach are the main attractions (not shops). It is a small beach town. Because the mountains rush to the Sea here, this is a paragliding paradise and a MUST activity. While the beach is public, beach lounge chairs and umbrellas are only for rent. Cash is preferred, but restaurants easily take credit cards. There are lots of ATMs around. Best restaurants are on the beach side with good menus but with tourist pricing, yet still reasonable. We enjoyed Buzz Beach Bar for lunch (great tuna mayo wrap and fruit smoothies) and Bella Gusto (Italian) for dinner with homemade pasta.Guest review bySharonUnited States - 8.0

Great castle and museum - with amazing Roman artifacts and a splendid view from the battlements. The undercover market was huge and cool in the heat. The water show at 21:00 each evening was excellent Easy to get about on small buses cost 50p for entire journey. Beautiful location with a great array of restaurants. Dining next to the river or taking a boat trip are great ways to spend your time. No beaches unless you travel by boat which is very reasonably priced. Friendly locals, with a can do attitude to please. A few English type pubs but easy enough to avoid. Turunc exceeded our expectations. The beautiful little town is clean, restaurants, hotels and shopping are great. The people are very friendly and helpful. The ocean is warm and clean. We ate at Yali restaurant and Perios Beach Hotel for accommodation and food was exquisite. The town is small so you can walk everywhere. This charming Turkish town offers an authentic escape far from the usual tourist crowds. Akyaka is a beautiful town located on the river with hardly any international tourists. It was busy with Turkish locals on their holidays; we often found menus were only in Turkish, but this added to our sense of adventure. It offers a more genuine Turkish experience as it is less developed than other resorts and the low rise Ottoman architecture is attractive.
