- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.5Very Good - What previous guests thought, 99 reviewsI absolutely loved the home away from home feel of the lodge. The staff are so welcoming and Selina and the boys are wonderful hosts. Thank you so much for also inviting me to your church that truly was a highlight of my trip and the delicious fruit and avocados each morning for breakfast. My room was so comfortable, I was given two fans and the bathroom was clean and shower 🚿 nice hot water and pressure. I also enjoyed chilling in the lounge area with Masuil, apologies if I spelt his name wrong but we put face masks on and relaxed it was great. As a solo female traveller I'd highly recommend this lodge to anyone who is planning a trip to Tonga.Guest review byNicolaAustralia
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.5Very Good - What previous guests thought, 303 reviewsBreakfast was very good. It’s advertised as free but that is the continental breakfast I believe. Ordered off the menu instead and it was delicious. Plus the setting and ambiance is really nice. Highly recommend! Also the bartender (I can’t recall his name unfortunately) is very helpful and makes sure you have everything you need. The owners/managers were very kind as well. Also, it is reasonably walkable to all the main spots like restaurants and bars on the Main Street.Guest review byJosephUnited States
- From $261.70 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.0Very Good - What previous guests thought, 301 reviewsThe STAFFS with Fiona and team from the front desk, breakfast, room service, Bou and the team at the pool and bar, maintenance, and security. Truly felt the Tongan warmth with them. The ambiance and the fact that their landscaping are veggies and fruits for hotel use is the perfect touch. Location was accessible to everything in town, neighboring villages, and ferries to outer islands.Guest review byTauUnited States

A great stop over for connecting flights to the outer islands of Tonga. Loved the blow hole coast, good idea to hire a car to get around. The central market is worth checking out for fresh fruit, veg and craft. The Seaview Lodge Restaurant was our favourite place to eat. Wanted to try the Korean restaurant too but it wasn't open on the dates we visited.Guest review byNicola FNew Zealand - 8.0

It's a small place, but there is variety of experience here - the vibrant market, the port area with street vendors, restaurants and 'fishing pigs', the very popular Friends restaurant, open all day and evening and serving good food, reasonably priced ...the more you look, the more you find!Guest review byJacquelineUnited Kingdom - 4.0
Nuku’ alofa isn’t set up for tourism.
Nuku’ alofa isn’t set up for tourism. They don’t really understand what customer service means or they just don’t care. While the other islands are beautiful the mainland has very little to offer in terms of interesting experiences.Guest review byMelindaNew Zealand
