We were greeted by the wonderful host who explained everything we needed to know about the property and the many hiking options in the area. Our room was very clean and comfortable. We loved relaxing on our balcony after dinner and enjoying the wonderful views of the mountains. We enjoyed having our breakfast in their beautiful sun room. There were many delicious options including freshly prepared eggs as you would like them. We would definitely stay here again.

This was a perfect stop for a couple of nights, though we could easily have stayed longer. The staff were extremely friendly (we were even upgraded), the room was clean and comfortable, facilities were great and the breakfast was delicious with a wide assortment of hot and cold dishes. We were at Lake Bled for a wedding so the location was perfect and if you need to get a bus, the stop is just outside the hotel.

    The hotel is really clean and nice, everything is like on the pictures, the restaurant and breakfast they are serving is also magnificent (it is a little bit short of selections but everything they offer is very delicious), they serve water, orange juice and offer coffee (a good coffee made from a professional coffee machine) included in the breakfast.     Our expectations were exceeded with Hotel Lovec. We had high rooms with lake view and the view from the rooms were simply stunning. Hotel felt very big and open. Largest buffet breakfast we had on our trip and it was really good! Very friendly staff and accommodating with parking when the hotel carpark was full. 10/10 would go here again.

    We had a room with an amazing lake and mountain view with 1 minute walk from the bridge. There is a parking for the guests. Breakfasts and dinners(with unlimited wine) are nice. Swimming pool and Spa are also very nice. There are plenty hiking in the 10-20 mins drive distances. We enjoyed our staying, thank you!

    Scenery in and around Kranjska Gora is stunning. Clean, safe, good bus service to Ljubljana, and lots of cafes and restaurants. Lake Jasna is particularly beautiful. Plenty of places to hire bikes, with beautiful bike trails .

    We stayed in Bled for a couple of days before moving to Lake...

    We stayed in Bled for a couple of days before moving to Lake Bohinj, on reflection, we preferred Lake Bohinj to Bled, it was less busy, quieter, and if we wanted was in each reach of Bled for a visit. If we went back again we would stay in Bohinj as a base and move around from there.

    Small town with a lot of historical buildings to see and stories to hear, also the tunnels built in the 2nd world war. There is beautiful nature in (rivers Kokra and Sava) and around it that you can visit. I was there two years in a row in September and each time we had a shorter option of a guided tour. Only the tunnels were the same, other parts of tour were totally different - in a small city!

    Lesce is a local residential village so nothing special is really happening there. It is quite small and very quiet with supermarkets in the vicinities. The best thing about Lesce is it central location to all the major areas around Lake Bled.

    Slovenia on the whole is one of the most beautiful countries we have been to. It was very lush and green and has beautiful mountains with little villages tucked away in between. WE love our visit to to Ljubljana, Lake Bled and Postojna caves!! Keeping in mind that this particular hotel location is quite far from the tourist attractions but extremely close to the airport.

    Skofija Loka is a stunning medieval town surrounded by beautiful hills, forests and farmland. The castle perched above the town hosts the town museum and is well worth a visit. The old town features lots of beautiful buildings and small squares with cafes and shops. We ate out twice, once in a Balkan food specialist called Das ist Walter and once in a restaurant near Stara Loka called Inglic. Both were excellent and good value for money. The cafe bar Homen in the centre was also very good for cakes and coffee with exceptional, friendly staff. We also enjoyed two long hikes in the surrounding hills.     I'm a pubic transport guy, so i arrived with bus from Ljubljana – transport is good, there are buses frequently between the two towns. I went there mostly because of hiking, but there are all kinds of other sporting opportunity, especially water sports like SUP or rowing. I also spent some time with sightseeing: went to the island and also the Vintgard Gorge (do not miss it! Seriously, it's spectacular). Bled is a perfect destination for families, and also for hiking or doing other sports. I will definitely return.
