- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.6Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 420 reviewsNice camp in desert. Drove from Al Maha Al Wasil fuel station. Before we let reduce the tyre pressure for 1 OMR, by return they did the oppoosite and you can wash your car for 1.50-2 OMR. We enjoyed the stay, you can walk around the camp, watching sunset/rise or just sitting on the terrace and looking aroung. We were free upgraded and got very nice bungalow in the corner with the view on dune hills and in the morning we could look for the sunrise. The sun appears approx one hour after the official sunrise, do not get too early like we did :-)Guest review byVaclavCzech Republic
- From US$208.09 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.8Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 266 reviewsProprietor is very friendly and shared interesting information about Oman and the Omani people, camp is in the perfect location by highest point of the dunes for excellent views of sunset /sunrise and near Bedouin camel herd where we were able to see camels roaming and feeding, food was also very good and our tent was quite comfortable. Overall camp had an excellent atmosphere where we could enjoy the desert experience and relax with other guests.Guest review byMCUnited States

Loved the sunset drive on the dunes.
Loved the sunset drive on the dunes. Dune bashing was fun and you can tell your driver what version of this you want - soft to fast ! Staff were friendly and accommodating. Make sure you book your seat at outdoor dining to avoid not getting a seat if the camp is full. Also book activities as soon as so you get your preferred time. Food was great - huge selection in the buffet and the musical entertainment was a great surprise !Guest review byAliceUnited Kingdom - 10.0
The desert is very beautiful here.
The desert is very beautiful here. Despite the multitude of camps, it is not a problem to have a perfectly quiet and serene evening or morning walk among the dunes. If possible, aim for a moonless night to enjoy the full splendor of the night sky.Guest review byMarkoBulgaria - 6.0

The resort is nice, I think there is a huge investment in the resort , although I think it will be better to train the staff to be more professional to deal with guests and certainly the restaurant is not up to the expectations especially regarding the menu and the the food served maybe the investment should include a new restaurant much better than the current one.Guest review bySaleh AL KamliOman - 10.0
We had an excellent stay at the camp.
We had an excellent stay at the camp. It's a small and private camp, with a great view on the sand dunes. The tents are fully equipped and comfortable. All the people working at the camp were super friendly and helpful. They made sure everything was according to our expectations and beyond. We did a dune bashing activity, where we also watched the sunrise and took beautiful pictures. I also definitely recommend the camel ride to watch the sunrise! The dinner and breakfast was super delicious, and we enjoyed watching the stars around the campfire at night.Guest review byAnonymous
