We would like to especially mention Dharmesh who made sure we are well served when dining in the arabian nights restaurant. Such a warm person and we enjoyed conversation with him and he speaks very good english as well!! Was a pleasure meeting you and such a dedicated employee! We also appreciated how one of the managers (did not catch his name but we spotted two during our stay - a male and female - this one was the male) approached us to ask about our stay: what we enjoyed and if we had any suggestions for them to improve. A question which was repeated by the person at check out in the reception desk. Such an attentive staff!! We also enjoyed the time with our driver for the shuttle service to and from the dessert and Biddyah - Said - he made sure to keep us entertained during our rides with him. Our small house had a beautiful sea view. The resort beach was sandy, perfect for a great swim. The sea water was super clear, and we couldn't get enough of it. We also enjoyed a swim in the quiet pool next to the beach. Pool had a guard. The food for dinner and breakfast was pretty good, depending on what you pick. The freshly grilled chicken was fantastic. The spiced rice and french fries were tasty too. Breakfast had a variety of delicious fruits. There was live music during dinner, creating a really chill atmosphere. I wished we could have stayed an extra day. The staff were really friendly. It's a great place for families, with playgrounds for kids. Sur was a nice surprise.
Sur was a nice surprise. We were planning on going to the sea turtles reserve in Ras Al Jinz, but it was not the season, so we ended up in Sur instead. Thea beach is very nice as well as the souq. We had nice breakfast at Sahari Restaurant and hiked up to the tower next to it to see the views over the town. We visited the light house and the dhow factory.Guest review byTarjaFinland - 10.0

Loved the sunset drive on the dunes. Dune bashing was fun and you can tell your driver what version of this you want - soft to fast ! Staff were friendly and accommodating. Make sure you book your seat at outdoor dining to avoid not getting a seat if the camp is full. Also book activities as soon as so you get your preferred time. The desert is very beautiful here. Despite the multitude of camps, it is not a problem to have a perfectly quiet and serene evening or morning walk among the dunes. If possible, aim for a moonless night to enjoy the full splendor of the night sky.Guest review byMarkoBulgaria - 6.0
I’m uncomfortable with the turtle viewing situation.
I’m uncomfortable with the turtle viewing situation. After booking I read reviews of Ras Al Jinz and we decided to avoid. Then we were told to walk onto the beach near our guest house, with the warning that we could be turned away as beach access at night is forbidden. We saw several people in cars near the beach, headlights on, clearly looking for turtles. We turned away. The following morning, after sunrise, we went up to the beach. A turtle had clearly been there, I just hope the uninvited visitors didn’t interrupt her. I fear Ras Al Hadd isn’t entirely coping with the increased number of tourists and I don’t think it’s really worth a visit, tourists also need to be made much more aware of the consequences of their actions.Guest review byPaulaSwitzerland - 8.0

We had an excellent stay at the camp.
We had an excellent stay at the camp. It's a small and private camp, with a great view on the sand dunes. The tents are fully equipped and comfortable. All the people working at the camp were super friendly and helpful. They made sure everything was according to our expectations and beyond. We did a dune bashing activity, where we also watched the sunrise and took beautiful pictures. I also definitely recommend the camel ride to watch the sunrise!
