Just a lovely place, such a fantastic location & had complimentary bikes to go along. When our bikes didn’t work they gave us complimentary e-bikes! I really felt listened to & that is a first! Also they offer great deals with neighbouring restaurants (which are fantastic!!!)

Fresh smelling non-smoking bed-room and bathroom - all spotlessly clean. These are the most important items for me. Lovely view over the city, and quiet at night with no city noise.

A beautiful clean city with so much history Had the most fabulous 86 year old walking guide from the Museum . His wealth was immense. Learnt so much about the early history of New Plymouth particularly the Taranaki Maori. Loved it . Will be back.

It is a natural beach loved by surfers! Take the kickboard, go directly into the sea, and enjoy the fun of surfing. If you are tired, you can rest on the beach. The sunset is beautiful and not to be missed. But there is no lighting after sunset so be careful walking back to where you parked

    Typical country town.

Typical country town. There was a great coffee shop, vehicle srervicing and farm supply facilities. We enjoyed our stay there as a staging post for WOMAD in New Plymouth. The view from the Barbwire Bach across the lake is tranquil and very scenic.

Super Market and small businesses appreciated. Convenience of travelling North and South of Waitara to Taranaki historical sites suited our family. Close to the sea a bonus. Managed a little fishing. Play Park great for children.

Inglewood is just a typical small NZ town.. nothing remarkable. But it provides fairly close access to Mount Taranaki, with its walks and the Rhododendron festival, and not too far from the Forgotten Highway with its splendid rural hilly scenery. There are a range of places to eat including things like Subway, pizza shops, cafés and full restaurants. The hotel has a full restaurant service but not on Mondays and Tuesdays. The shopping centre is unremarkable but provides for all ordinary needs such as banks, post office, supermarkets and so on. Town very safe.

Hotel is in central location. Easy to find if you get lost too. Z Garage gave my latte free as they got the order wrong. Everyone in the town was talkative and friendly. Marbles buffet was the bomb and it was packed. Staff were fabulous. Caretaker beside reserved parking was friendly and gave us directions. Weather was beautiful also.
