NicaraguaI stayed here with my girlfriend for a weekend getaway and we really liked it. The hotel is right in front of the beach and it's super quiet, which was exactly what we were looking for. The sunsets are amazing and the whole place feels peaceful.
The staff was nice and helpful. Our room was clean and comfortable, with a fan and good Wi-Fi. The breakfast was included and it was fresh and tasty. We also tried some of the smoothies - really qood (no soft drinks)
Hotel it has everything you need to relax and disconnect. We're Nicaraguan and it's not always easy to find a place like this close to home. Definitely recommended.

United StatesThe breakfast is more than a normal person can eat , but we were going to climb a volcano so we ate everything.... traditional Nicaraguan breakfast....the staff is incredible and bilingual....they go above and beyond....pool is a nice soaker with excellent service if you want a beverage. The Hotel Flor de Sarta is nicely located on the edge of the city centre so guests can spend time in the bustling city as well as relax within the hotel area. There is a small pool which is perfect for a quick dip to cool down and there is a quiet courtyard where you can sit and read under cover during the heat of the day. Breakfast is typically Nicaraguan, which means it is simple but excellent. If you prefer something different there are plenty of cafes nearby. In summary, Hotel Flor de Sarta is excellent for a visit to the city of Leon.

We met the owners who couldnt have been more helpful, accommodating and friendly.

The whole hotel has a lovely colonial / vintage feel. There was some really beautiful artwork throughout, some of which was painted by the owners mum. It had a lovely charming feel. I didn’t use the small pool, but this is definitely a bonus for the high temperatures in Leon. My room was lovely and comfortable. Everywhere was spotless. Breakfast was included and was also excellent. The location was perfect for exploring Leon and felt very safe. Breakfast is amazing! Gallo pinto, toast and eggs. It fills you up for hours. The staff are constantly cleaning. The garden is a great place to relax. There are comfortable hammocks. You know how fans are always dusty? They're spotless here, it was one of the first things we noticed as it's so unusual. My partner has a dust allergy so having a clean fan made a difference. Leon is a pretty and interesting city.
Leon is a pretty and interesting city. We enjoyed a walking tour and the art museum was absolutely fantastic. We also really enjoyed doing a few trips from here - to the beach/mangroves at Las Penatas, and a volcano hike. Las Penitas is only 2 hours from Managua and 20 mins from lovely Leon. It’s totally relaxing, with some great places to eat for every budget, surf schools and mangroves to explore. The fishermen bringing their boats in up the river are a great sight to see at high tide.
