- From US$211.41 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 7.2Good - What previous guests thought, 213 reviewsWe had a nice stay overall. The hotel was clean and comfortable, with all the basic amenities we needed. It’s conveniently located near minimarkets, which was great for quick purchases. A particularly nice touch was the presence of a sandbox/play area for kids—it made it easier to relax while the little ones had fun. The property has good features like a dual shower and dryer, although the bathroom space was a bit tight. There were also a few ants near the entrance, which could be improved. Still, the positives outweighed the small issues, and we appreciated the thoughtful family-friendly setup. Would recommend for families looking for a practical and comfortable stay.Guest review byKabeerUnited States
- From US$86.80 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 7.3Good - What previous guests thought, 5,712 reviewsI thought it is a bit far away to go to old town, but it was just 10 min by taxi and price was just 30 MAD. All staff is so kindly and very good customer service. Room is clean and there was a bathtub. I felt the location is safely than old town. So it didn’t need worry about walking around at the night time. Also we ate a dinner in front of the pool. Food was nice and staff was so friendly. We spent a great time. Thank you very much!!Guest review byMOMOKOJapan
- From US$412.93 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.7Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 254 reviewsAuthentic Moorish and well maintained Palace with a pool. Close to Old Fez. Few steps away from Medina. Gorgeous rooftop restaurant for diners and breakfast. Polite staff. Clean rooms , extra nice duvet on the bed. Parking inside is available for free. Strongly recommend. We were upgraded to a suit, as travelled in low season, that gave us an extra perk.Guest review byAndrasHungary
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.7Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 165 reviewsThe decor and furniture inside the riad are unbelievable. Everywhere you went it was visually amazing. Each of the many areas had a different character and feel, which made the overall experience incredibly broad and diverse. Excellent value for money given how opulent and classy it was. We will definitely return there if we go back to Fes.Guest review byFrancesFrance

Fez is a fascinating city, full of life, commerce, and talented artisans. To appreciate Fez, come with an open-mind, ready to explore a world that in many ways hasn't changed in hundreds of years. A good guide can help you appreciate the history and beauty of some of the historic buildings (the medrasa, the tanneries, the oldest university), the quality of the handicrafts and the way of life of the people who make the medina their home. Visiting the Fez medina is an intense and rewarding experience.Guest review byLindaUnited States - 8.0
Interesting medina, market and main square.
Interesting medina, market and main square. Short (free) visit to mausoleum is main event, otherwise not a lot to do. Probably 1 day/night is sufficient. Use as a base for half day visit to Volubolis. Limited decent restaurants , most are in Riads. A restaurant with a terrace with nice views exists on inside of gateway near main gateGuest review byPaulUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Peculiar European style roof houses for sliding the melted ice, calm, quiet and very comfortable hotels available, especially I highly recommend MICHLIFEN RESORT. Hotel staff was very obedient, punctual. Hotel surrounding, forest tour by walk.. Deep inside, a visit to a small lake for a short picnic, smaller town comparatively and a short centre ville visit are special moments in 4 days visit. A retirement town. I breathed most clean air in the whole of my life. Very clean town.. I always used to rate some rural area of Sub Saharan Africa as the best for good air quality but now my new option is IFRANE of this beautiful country "MOROCCO".Guest review byJayant PALNITKARIndia - 6.0
Not much happening in this town.
Not much happening in this town. Hard to find good restaurants. Most places seem to serve fast food. Probably the biggest draw is the proximity to Ifrane National Park and the famous Barbary macaques. They are easily spotted on the road N13 leading into town mainly because people like to feed them there so there are plenty to see.Guest review byJamesUnited States - 10.0
Booking.
Booking. Com is very hard to write a review in the system, it deleted all my long descriptions. The accommodation was wonderful and welcoming. The 15th century palace in the middle of the 9000 Fez alleyways was stunning and beautiful. The staff was exceptional and helpful and quickly became friends. Moroccan people are polite and respectful and helpful.Guest review bycorinnaUnited States - 10.0
A Hidden Gem for Peace and Tranquility
A Hidden Gem for Peace and Tranquility Nestled far from the hustle and bustle of modern cities, this town offers a serene retreat into a simpler, more peaceful way of life. The charm of the town lies in its timeless atmosphere, where modernity is far from the priority. Here, life moves at a slower pace. The architecture of Moulay Idriss mosque is nothing short of breathtaking, The intricate tiles and majestic arches tell stories of a rich cultural heritage, while the fountains within the mosque add a sense of tranquility and spiritual serenity. It’s a place where you can spend hours marveling at the craftsmanship and feeling completely at peace. The landscapes are equally captivating, with vast stretches of olive trees dotting the hillsides. What makes this town even more special is its people — respectful , down to earth and welcoming, they embody the warmth of a culture that values tradition and hospitality. There’s no fuss here, just a genuine sense of community.Guest review byNorMorocco - 4.0

-It shouldn’t be 4 starts hotel. It’s very very old. TVs are not working in all rooms ( literary) so many plugins are not working. Lamps are not working. - rooms are extremely small specially the triple ones. -The hotel is Average clean -The view was amazing from our balcony -Breakfast is very limited but acceptable. You can ask for good coffee for additional 15 MAD. -Location is excellent. The staff are amazing, super friendly.Guest review byIwFeIUnited Arab Emirates - 8.0

Early September was the wrong time to go there (my mistake) - far too hot to be enjoyable. Getting around in the Medina was very difficult and sometimes frustrating. There one can easily fall into the trap of being accosted by self-styled guides who will take you to various shops and ask you for money at the end. Perhaps for an older traveller it would have been better to lodge outside the Medina and visit it from there with an official tour. On the positive side, some of the sites were very beautiful and the people mostly very friendly and helpful.Guest review byMacFinland - 6.0

Very authentic city but lacking nice restaurants that felt clean. In the newer area there was a great place called Le Stream. Favorite places were the music museum and mausoleum. Petit Taxis were reasonably priced and made getting around the city inexpensive and easy.Guest review byDonnaCanada - 8.0

Ifrane is a small town so choices for food outside of the few hotels are limited. We like to take drives in the countryside each day and then return to town. There are a few very nice parks to walk through. Especially Ain Vittel on the outskirts of town.Guest review byoilpatchmikeUnited States
