The room was modern, well-furnished, and comfortable, and had an amazing view. The bed allowed me to have a good night's sleep, and breakfast was satisfying. I was also impressed with the strong Wi-fi network, which was pretty bad during my stays at other Yercaud hotels. I had avoided the hotel in the past because I thought the hotel was too far away from the main town but I was wrong. A brisk walk will get you there in 15-20 minutes. I also liked the little Sky Walk near the restaurant--it's interesting to look down when you're standing on the clear glass parts of the walkway. Chennai is a very poor, under-invested, smelly, noisy city. Many would say a shit-hole and given the small of most places you’d have to agree. Added to the humans pissing and crapping literally everywhere are tge ‘sacred’ cows that also shot and piss rivers everywhere. Alright, so I've been thinking about my trip to 🌴Coimbatore recently, and I just have to share my thoughts! First off, the weather was just perfect, not too hot, not too cold – just right for exploring the city. I spent a lot of time just wandering around and soaking in the local vibe; it was so relaxed. The food scene was incredible 😋, with delicious South Indian dishes everywhere I turned. I also made sure to visit some of the temples and historical sites; each one told a fascinating story. The people I met were super friendly and welcoming 🤗, always ready with a smile and helpful advice. Shopping at the local markets was a blast, picking up some unique souvenirs. We visited several times before five years. Now moderate chances are feeled. But it is Nice. It was a very short visit nothing more to say. Only night we went Sabarees restarent and it was great. I lived in Tiruchirappalli for about four years. It is one of the important tourist places not only in Tamil Nadu but in the entire South India. It is well connected by Train (two stations), bus facilities, and an airport. Sri Rangam, Thiruvanai koil, Samayapuram, Uchi Pillaiyar koil are all famous temples. Over a thousand-year-old Kalanai (stone dam) built by Karikaal Cholan is still operational. Mukkombu is another place worth visiting. Staying near the temple location is important and Aashreya Suites fits that requirement. Staff attitude is important and staff at Aashreya Suites are very polite and helpful. This factors made my day a very memorable day in the temple town. Only drawback is there is no signboard to indicate where you can park your vehicle. We did not visit Mahabalipuram as we were traveling with elderly folks and just wanted a weekend break. But since we live in Chennai, we have been to Mahabalipuram dozens of times!
