We had a lovely time at Maskot. We stayed a total of 4 nights. The rooms are quite fresh and really well kept. Be aware the are not fully “sealed” so if you are afraid of the chance of getting small bugs in this is not your place. However, we just got the usual mosquito here and there but the is also a mosquito net around the bed. The bathroom is semi-outside. It’s great for ventilation and it’s also really fresh believe or not! There is a transparent roof so it is okay if it rains as well. The location is quite good too if you want to rent a scooter and explore the island because it is sort of in the middle. We could also rent a scoopy for 100k a day. There is a restaurant next door if you don’t feel like going for a drive to get food, but we didn’t try it so we can’t say if it’s good or bad. There is also a little shop just in front of Maskot where you can buy water, sunscreen, some snacks… The hosts were super nice and paid attention you our needs. They have a really convenient laundry service as well, done in the same day because they use the sun to dry the clothes. They cooked a simple breakfast for us every morning and also gave us some advice on where to go. Finally, they helped us book the ferry ticket and taxi to leave the island. Really nice stay in Maskot:)

It's new hotel. Only 4 units but very pretty surroundings. Room were new and clean. Big washroom,good shower, big and hand held. Big glass door and also big glass window on the other side which you can see beautiful view of nature. Restaurant is across the street where they serve breakfast. We ate lunch and dinner. Very limited items but food was tasty. If you rent a scooter then there is plenty of places to eat. We didn't meet the host but she was easy to contact. She arranged taxi and boat tickets for us. We really enjoyed our stay and would come back again.

    We had an incredible stay at La Roja, from check-in to check-out. A special thanks to all the staff, especially Ms. Sree, who went above and beyond to ensure our experience in La Roja and Nusa Penida was as wonderful as possible, let me tell you, her positivity is absolutely infectious! And we loved meeting her! The rooms were beautifully decorated, and we especially loved the open shower design. The swimming pool was a perfect place to relax. The location is ideal – very close to the port and centrally situated between the east and west of Penida, making all major attractions just 30-40 minutes away. Additionally, it's conveniently near the main town, with shops and restaurants within easy reach. Also, they have a little breakfast menu which has some great continental breakfast options to start your day. We definitely recommend you to stay at La Roja for your Nusa Penida stay, we absolutely loved it and we cannot wait to come back ❤️

    It was the best decision to stay here. A modern hotel with beautiful views. The apartment is spacious, beautiful, very comfortable bed. Mini bar and compliments in the room. Constantly maintained clean in the room and the entire hotel. Two chic swimming pools with beautiful views. Restaurant with a large selection of dishes. Delicious and varied breakfasts. The receptionists have given us two-day tours all over the island with a personal driver (special thanks to Lista and Ajus); arranged a transfer from one island to another while we could relax and think about nothing. Thanks to the professionalism of the reception team Yanti, Deklis and Sudipa. The most friendly restaurant team, constant in the positive and ready to help.     Absolutely dreamy, charming beach hut hotel, gorgeous location obviously, rustic but in the good way, friendliest and fastest staff (in Bali they can be too slow/relaxed), great pool for adults/kids alike, children friendly, the waking up to the waves and an empty beach at 6:30am was priceless, make sure to get a beach front hut, we had the family beach hut which has ground floor with twin beds, upstairs double, straight on beach; (be ok with some neighborly kid-noise, everything is open architecture), not overrun despite the visiting tours & motorcycles; they even let my baby sleep longer despite checkout time, so friendly!!

    If you are looking for a nice beach, a place a bit far from main touristic street, but with perfect view with amazing bar/reastaurant nearby, with calm atmosphere and spa salon nearby- the Secret point huts is the best option. The bed was comfortable and the shower was ok. Consider a scooter 🛵 to go there from Lembongan main island, because the yellow bridge is not fit for the cars

    If you are willing to adjust a little with the room size and looking for a raw experience, the place can offer you so much. The manager Gidi and his staff Habibi ( one I remember) will make it so friendly for you that can spend half of the day talking to these guys and ofcourse enjoying location.     I loved everything I saw here, just wish I could have stayed...

    I loved everything I saw here, just wish I could have stayed longer. I stayed at Prapat Beach, which was close enough to Penida Ferry Port and stunning, with an amazing view of Agung on a clear day. My accomodation was in a great spot and is as advertised. Sari Nadi Beach Stay is only a few k's from the harbour but with traffic, it took around 30mins. I did a tour of West island beaches, which I found disappointing because it was so busy, shoulder-to-shoulder busy! It felt it was impossible to really enjoy it with so many people. The walk down to Kelingking Beach might have been worth it if you didn't have to keep stopping for someone to get their perfect shot! The drive through the countryside was worth it alone though, and if your new to the island, it's a great way to get your bearings for a return visit. Crystal Beach was my pick of the beaches, just don't forget to bring a towel or change to hire one and a bed. Otherwise, you can sit at a table. Overall, I can't wait to go back! One tip, check if there are any days of (religious) observance when you stay. My stay coincided with Nyepi Laut, 'Silence of the Ocean' which means no water activity, great for me because it meant peace and quiet but not if you needed to travel that day.

    Nusa Lembongan is much more relaxed than Bali. You can also get accommodation with fantastic views and beach access for a reasonable price. So many activities to do such as surfing, snorkelling, diving, fishing, etc. Once you've been to Nusa Lembongan, you will definitely come back again.

    The hotel is remote with one restaurant to provide all your meals there or in the room . No shops etc. You need a driver to take you to any temples etc. We couldn’t to any treking activity during our time as it was rainy. Nice to just chill. Lovely staff very helpful at reception and restaurant. Lovely views

    Becoming worse every visit! Congested and too many dogs, not controlled (rebirth)! Actually east side quieter and becomes better going to eastward on coastal road! Many tourists never even reach/travel that far! Less traffic , more nature, more traditional, but changing every day!!

    The most delightful accomodation. Local family run single room villas built in a quiet location with close mini mart in 5 minute walk. 20min taxi ride to Ubud for hustle and bustle of more western orientated restaurants markets etc.

    Unfortunately , NP seems to have far too many visitors for what the road infrastructure can handle . The roads to all the local sightseeing hotspots are not wide enough for oncoming vehicle to pass each other without driving on the shoulder of the road ( if it exists ) and constantly causing further damage ,. The roads surfaced are very badly broken a terribly pot- holed . Vehicle journeys to the popular destinations take an inordinately long time with traffic banked up while cars try to pass each other when they can . On the plus ; the restaurants and beach clubs and bars serve excellent food and live music nightly was easy to find . And entertaining . The coastline scenery is fantastic . Itis why so many people make trip . The fast ferry services from Sanur to NP are very good and only 30 minutes .

    So good we wanted to stay longer, will definitely be returning. Just such a relaxing place to visit. The beaches on the island were beautiful with clear blue water. We ate out in restaurants and cafes. The Deck was amazing for breakfast, drinks and dinner. Also, Lemongrass was another highlight for dinner. It's only a small island so, easy to get around on scooters, but taxis were easy to come by and reasonably priced if you want to have a few drinks.

    Cheap massages, lots of food markets.

    Cheap massages, lots of food markets. Was pretty dirty and busy. Great reef trips and amazing scenery on the east side of the island. Walk to Penida colada for a special meal on the water - sunset with dolphins 💕

    We explored the Royal Palace and grounds.

    We explored the Royal Palace and grounds. Quite interesting history of both important battles but also process of producing food. We also bought excellent gifts at nearby clothing stores. Heard about other activities but didn't have longer than a couple of hours.
