Chap at reception wa very helpful with info on how to get to the stadium, and info about the 'village', as he called it.

Extra towels and dressing gowns provided for wellness rooms. Bathroom has lots of extra toiletries . Our room had trees shielding the window giving dappled shade. The hotel is set on the edge of the Danube so our room had a river view. The hotel has half board included in the price which included a three course meal(you pay for any drinks) .If more than 15 guests are booked in for the night there is a buffet. Breakfast was again a chance to order from a hot menu when less guests with plenty of things to choose from the cold buffet. The swimming pool is lovely.Parking in courtyard. Tamasi was our "Home Base" for 11 days.
Tamasi was our "Home Base" for 11 days. There is not much to do there, but my husband's family lives in an adjacent village so we took day trips from Tamasi. There is a thermal spa in Tamasi, but it had a fire two years ago and has not been repaired. It was a nice complex, but we found the entrance fee of around $10.00 per person high for what is an outdoor complex of two thermal pools, and one that is not as warm. We did not check to see if the kiddie and swimming pools were operational. It is my opinion that it is better to stay overnight in the city that you are visiting, rather than coming back to Tamasi every night. We did that because of my husband's family location.
