- From US$151.04 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.3Very good - What previous guests thought, 1,879 reviewsWhile exterior esthetics are a bit dated, this hotel is better than we thought. Checkin was easy. Parking was easy, and included. We had a very big room with sea view; a suite in fact; not sure if we were upgraded. There were 3 balconies. The balconies have a kind of tile screen which looks weird from outside but probably makes sense in the hot sun. Air conditioning was good. Bed was good, 2 different big pillows. Bathroom nice, shower in tub; you do have to step into the tub for the shower, maybe a little difficult if your mobility is reduced. Pool area was very nice; a very big round pool, saltwater, and almost warm. From the pool area you can walk down to the beach, by crossing one street. The beach is pebbles, as is usual around here. You can have drinks or lunch by the pool. Breakfast was in a big room, also possible outside, weather permitting. This hotel is also used for groups; hence the breakfast room being large. We didn't do dinner here. Only thing I didn't really like about breakfast: despite the 3 coffee machines, I couldn't find a larger more diluted coffee. Even the lungo seemed like a strong espresso. 15-20 minute walk into downtown old Zadar, depending on your speed, mostly flat. There are Ubers and taxis. Easy drive back to the airport on last day. If you want to be able to rest and enjoy pool or beach, while being able to walk into town for the afternoon and evening, this is a very good place. It doesn't have any medieval charm, but it has all the modern comforts!Guest review byErikBelgium
- From US$185.30 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.7Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 2,171 reviewsVery good breakfast, wide choice, very friendly staff, kindhearted waiters, wonderful fish soup and very good posip wine. I booked a cheaper room but on the arrival I was told they had a sea view room for me as an extra. I was so happy! I also received a voucher for some spa treatments as a gift, unfortunately didn't have time to enjoy it.Guest review byGabrielaSlovakia
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.7Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 1,477 reviewsWe spent 8 nights in the beginning of september in zaton resort (in mobile home) and it was such a wonderful experience. Perfect place for vacation with kids! If you get bored or want to visit different beaches- there is a small town Nin, located 10-15 mins by walk from the resort. Zadar and Vir are 30mins by car.Guest review byKristiinaEstonia

Great city. perfect old town and most importantly the promenade was simply beautiful. Just the right level of tourists - did not feel overwhelmingly crowded. Brilliant sunsets. Well connected for local sights such as Plitvice National Park, Kornati National Park, Nin town (not to be missed).Guest review byParitoshUnited Kingdom - 10
Great vibe in the area. Good local restaurants.
Great vibe in the area. Good local restaurants. Used Pizza Peperoni which was great, Mad Suck and Konoba Kampanel. All took card payment. Restaurant Tomislav only accepted cash - with 140€ bill I would have liked to be made aware in advance Bakery staff super welcoming. Would have been good to know in advance about a public holiday the day after arrivalGuest review byStef - 10

We came across very narrow streets near the church, which amazed me—I had never seen anything like it before. There were also cozy little restaurants with delicious food for every taste, an impressive waterfront with yachts, and a sunset over the sea with islands.Guest review byKatіаUkraine - 10
Novalja is amazing.
Novalja is amazing. Sure, it’s full of people in the high season since the famous Zrce Beach is nearby, but I’ll definitely come back next year. Not just for the beautiful sea and beaches, but also because we never had a chance to be bored.Guest review byBronaSlovakia - 10
We went on a sightseeing trip around Zadar.
We went on a sightseeing trip around Zadar. The next day, we sailed by boat from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and explored the islands outside Zadar. We drove out to Krk Island and visited four wonderful places there. We ended by driving to Krka National Park. All of these were beautiful places with magnificent nature. We had a rental car, and I highly recommend it—otherwise, the stay wouldn't have been as excellent.Guest review byJon Axel AntonssonIceland - 10

A small city with a lot to do. Not too crowded, with a living night life. This is a city that is not well known yet and it is evolving tourist wise. Best thing for price/quality. Parking are cheap or free, restaurants are not too expensive...Guest review byLeonard - 8.0

Sukosan is a a good place for a quiet break. The beach isn't crowded and there is a lovely atmosphere both in the daytime and evenings. We would recommend the Hotel Belvedere and Konoba Piazzetta for evening meals.Guest review byPeterUnited Kingdom - 10

The owner was very kind and accommodating. The location was a peaceful and convenient place to stay. We ate at the public beach area which we walked to in under 10 minutes. We walked around the marina after dinner and that was a lovely family walk. Would recommend to others.Guest review byTheresaUnited States - 10
Petrcane is a quiet village 25mins from Zadar.
Petrcane is a quiet village 25mins from Zadar. You would have to take a taxi. There’s everything you need for a quiet getaway but plenty to do also. The hotel which you can visit offer lovely food options and plenty of places to sit and have after dinner drinks by the beach. Zadar airport is about 45 mins away.Guest review byJohannaIreland - 10
Povljana is growing too fast.
Povljana is growing too fast. The rapid construction of unsightly apartment buildings threatens the original charm of this peaceful coastal village and slowly pushes it toward the fate of overcrowded resorts like Makarska. For now, the situation is still bearable – but it feels like a tipping point is approaching. One can only hope that local authorities and residents will act before the soul of the place is lost for good.Guest review byMichalCzech Republic
