First and foremost, the apartment itself is a gem. It is renovated, big, clean, tastefully decorated, and equipped with all the amenities one could need on you vacation. It was perfect size for our family with 2 small children + grandparents.
The location is absolutely perfect. Nestled in a quiet part of the town, it offers stunning views of the bay. Beach is just a short walk away, with plenty of spots for swimming. Additionally, also the reason why we booked - the apartment is conveniently close to local shops, restaurants, and cafes, allowing you to experience the charming local culture with ease.
What truly sets this apartment apart, is the host. Their kindness and helpfulness really made us feel welcome.
If you are doubting, don’t look further. Just book, you will not regret it. We will definetly return!

AustriaAppartment as well as Edigio, the owner, was very nice and welcoming. Everything was very fine and I really loved it to stay there, we will definitly come again. We had the appartment unter the roof, so in summer it could get warm, for June it was very fine, in the night we opened the roof window to let in the fresh air. Wonderful. We prepared our meals ourselves, so we really enjoyed the nice sitting area in the appartment and there would even have been one in the patio. Bakery and a little market to buy the most important things are in 10 min distance walk, but even a big Plodine (super market) is quite near. Cres itself has a nice promenade to walk, even on the other side of the bay and then at the coast through olive trees with beautiful spots at the sea. Wonderful. Cres is a town, that has nowadays plenty of bars and restaurants, but you are in nature very soon as well.

Egidio gave us clear instructions about how to get to the apartment, where to park etc. He was friendly and helpful in giving us recommendations. Apartment was clean and had everything we needed for 3 people. The balcony is great for chilling in the evening after a long day. Would highly recommend this place if you are planning to stay on Cres.

Beli is a special place.
Beli is a special place. It was my third visit there and I wish I could stay longer and return soon. Besides the old town (which is quiet and not crowded by many tourists), there is a nice beach beneath the town (nice walk but little bit steep) and plenty of opportunities for forest walks or even hikes. The paths are well marked and mostly hidden under the trees. In case of interest I suggest to download the "Tramuntana hike&bike map" on the internet. Ustrine is a small village about 180 meters above the sea. A quiet place to spend your vacation, the whole bay has 4 beaches. If you are staying in Ustrina, you can take a steep road to the beach by car. If you are not staying, you have to leave your car in front of the nice buffet and walk about 20 minutes. It worths to check something new after a few trips to Krk and the other Croatian shores. Cres is nice, there is a lot of forests, flowers, the whole island is pretty green (compared to Krk). Most beaches are harder to reach, there is only a few where you do not need to climb hills or where you can park the car nearby. If you are fit, you can find nice beaches, but for the best ones prepare for 30-60 mins walking on rocky hills. We can visit a lot of hidden beaches in the daytime. Very quiet place to chill and sleep at the nights. There is no big highways so can not hear the noise of the cars. Small roads are very rocky.
