They let us do this and also refunded us which was very kind. The place is very peaceful and right next to a delicious cafe. Charming island with beautiful beaches and some wildlife - saw one seal on Nimborio beach, and the other person saw turtles on Marathounda beach. Very interesting two monasteries of Archangel Michael - the new one and the old one in mountains with frescoes from 15th century. The island has beautiful beaches which can be accessed by water taxi. The swimming and snorkelling are amazing. We saw a variety of fish, squid and a turtle. The harbour area is quite commercial and busy when the day trippers are there. However, when they have returned to Rhodes, it;s a very peaceful island. It's worth exploring the many small streets and myriads of steps that wind up the hillside. It's easy to get lost but that's part of the fun. The food shops are relatively small but we found plenty for self-catering. There are some very good restaurants in the town (there were some super-yachts staying every night we were there) and the prices we paid weren't too bad.
