The suite Hotel in Santorini left me in awe, with the most beloved feature being the stunning view from the private balcony. This serene spot offered a breathtaking panorama of the iconic Santorini landscape, where the white-washed buildings contrasted beautifully with the azure Aegean Sea. I especially enjoyed the luxurious jacuzzi on the balcony, where i could relax while soaking in the magnificent scenery. The combination of the soothing waters and the captivating view created an unparalleled experience, making it the highlight of their stay. The room's elegant decor and modern amenities only added to the overall charm, but it was the balcony jacuzzi with its mesmerizing view that truly made the suite unforgettable. Adding to the charm of the hotel was the exceptional staff, particularly the two amazing reception girls. They went above and beyond to assist with everything, ensuring that even the smallest details were taken care of. Their friendly demeanor and eagerness to help made the stay even more enjoyable and memorable, the outstanding service from the reception staff that truly made the suite unforgettable.

Amazing brand new hotel with great view from the terraces, even sunset and sunrise views directly from the hotel. Beautiful pool, beautifully arranged rooms with attention to details, vintage furniture. The team of the hotel is very kind and attentive to every guest! Everything is wonderful in this little hotel. The rooms are nicely decorated, comfortable, practical, they have everything you need. I knew my 2 teenagers would sleep in a sofa bed and I was afraid it would be small, but no, the sofa bed transformed into 2 real single mattresses, spacious and comfortable. The air condition was good. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful.

The location was excellent. The hotel had a very good manager - Maria - who assisted on ALL matters. The breakfast was not very inclusive but very fulfilling. The sharing pool was quite nice with a superb view.

Property was super clean and comfortable. Location was brilliant, a little noisy at night but to be expected being so central and the hotel do provide you with ear plugs. Giorgos was so helpful and even upgraded our room. He was ever to helpful with a package I was receiving. He went out of his way to help with recommendations. I would certainly return.     Bus companies were well organised, despite chaotic appearance. Used bus from airport, back from Oia, return trip to Akrotiri and to access the port. Drivers were very skilful. Beautiful location. Excellent dining in main street.

    On arrival it is confusing - hotel is built on upper slopes...

    On arrival it is confusing - hotel is built on upper slopes of caldera, so it has different levels. On the plus side as soon as you leave the hotel you are on the famous Fira/Oia walk - turn right for Fira. You are on the highest part of the caldera so initially it is downhill, also you are close to Skaros rock which is worth visiting for the views and has a church partially hidden on the seaward side at a slightly lower elevation. As long as you can look to the sea you will have great sunset views wherever you are,my hotel patio was great for this.

    Lovely village but getting very busy.

    Lovely village but getting very busy. Restaurants were excellent and staff in them very polite and attentive. Greece is not cheap these days so you have to pay the same as in UK for meals etc. Wine is very expensive but nice to see that they only sell Greek wine in supermarkets and restaurants.

    Liked that it was away from Fira. Fira so crowded.

    Liked that it was away from Fira. Fira so crowded. One day 6 cruise ships in Port. We ate 2 nights at Romantica taverna. Traditional Greek restaurant, good food and happy staff. Easy to walk around in you don't mind stairs and uphill. Walk from Fira to Oia 10km, something to do and overview of area.

    It is very expensive to eat out, so you will need to shop around. If you stay away from the restaurants with a view, you can see a big difference in the prices if you go a street or two below for the same food. Bring runners with you as you will do alot of walking and the paths are not great so no heels. Beware of roads as they do not have the same rules (no rules) as your own country.

    Everything in Oia is great - it’s so beautiful that not even the crowds are a problem! There are so many wonderful cafes and restaurants that you’re spoilt for choice. Definitely recommend one of the sunset cruises and also touring the wineries and archeological centre in Akrotiri.

    Glad I booked Imerovigli over Oia or Fira.

    Glad I booked Imerovigli over Oia or Fira. It was quieter, more affordable, has amazing views and walking distance to great restaurants. We ate at the White Lounge and La Moustache which were both fantastic. Also easily accessible from the road without too many steps. Highly recommend!

    Akrotiri is a beautiful town.

    Akrotiri is a beautiful town. I definitely recommend visiting the Akrotiri archaeological site, but the entrance fee of 20 euros is honestly way too expensive. The White Beach and Red Beach are nice, but not really our thing because they’re overcrowded. We preferred finding some quieter beaches instead

    Firostefani was a good choice of Santorini location for me.

    Firostefani was a good choice of Santorini location for me. Even at the end of the season, the main town of Fira was overcrowded with cruise ship visitors every day, and had some very high prices in the shops and restaurants. Firostefani is only a mile from Fira centre with good communications but is less crowded and (slightly) less expensive. There are plenty of restaurants in Firostefani, the two I liked best were Onar and Aktaion. Also there was a good, reasonably priced take-away called Why Not. Firostefani (and many areas of Santorini) has small mini-markets but no good supermarket. Anyone self-catering would find food shopping expensive and with limited choices. My hotel (Villa Ilias) like many others in Firostefani had spectacular views over the caldera.
