We chose this hotel and did not regret it, the room was clean, cleaning every two days, also the room offered towels for the beach, which is very convenient. I was at the hotel for my birthday, when the owner of the hotel found out about it, she made us a surprise, decorating the room with flowers, we were surprised. The beach is 3 minutes walk from the hotel, there are also many different restaurants and supermarkets within walking distance of 2-3 minutes. On the day of departure we had an evening flight, and the owner allowed us to stay until 3 so, really appreciated that. I definitely recommend this place!

The owner was super helpful with all our pandemic-related administrative difficulties/restrictions throughout past years and thanks to their flexibility we could finally be there.     Everything was great, hotel is clean, staff is friendly and helpful, all the tram - reception, F&B team is exceptional, housekeeping is keeping hotel clean and tidy. One night we had a problem with laud neighbours, who was having private part on the balcony and was not letting anyone sleep. Night reception attended issue immediately after reported - well done, very efficient. Food was very good, repetitive, but we always found something we like there - always fresh vegetables, fresh fruit, meat, fish, plenty of side dishes, deserts. All inclusive includes only beer and vine from alcohol - the rest to be paid, but we didn’t mind. Location is good, just 3-5 min to the beach, many shops, restaurants around, mini golf just across the road, car rental next door, Rethymno 1 hour by food, but also bus available, bus stop is located few minutes away from the hotel (we try to take it once but was full and didn’t stop) so we rather walked there. The best, what they have in this hotel are 3 massage armchairs at the lobby, you drop coin of €2 there and get 8 minutes of very pleasant massage, love it! We recommend Rethymno Village Hotel, definitely yes!

    The hotel had everything, nice view, many sunbeds, varmpool cold pool and beach at the door. Staff was amazing and very good hygiene. The rooms had new renovation and was beautiful. The food was also amazing with a lot of verity but the best thing was the pizza at evening, big ups to him for best pizza I eat. Even the animation team was very good for organizing activities they had a lot of creativity and both good and strong personalities that makes the days even better to have fun with them. The reception were very helpful with everything. Also the drinks was amazing. 10 out of 10 everything, see you next year. /Agron

    Very very very nice room design! Everything is thought through, a lot of light scenes, very comfy sofa, TV is rotating so you can watch it from every spot of the room, even from outside jacuzzi! Very nice restaurant, very delicious welcome lemonade :) Nice stuff and beautiful people around. Amazing beach just across the road, sport bar nearby, shops around the corner. And one of the best cities on Crete just in 10-15 minutes ride by car. We had a partial sea view and could hear the sea all night.

    A very good base for very many superb beaches in southern Crete, with a nice beach within the town, some great shops and very good eating options both within the town and the surrounding villages. Not spoiled by mass tourism as many other places in the island, yet neither too remote and hard to reach. Just perfect.

    Adorable, quaint and full of charm.

    Adorable, quaint and full of charm. At night the village centre close the roads, bring out the tables and chairs and the streets are filled with the sights, smells and sounds of Cretan joy. One of the places I will miss the most and can’t wait to return too.

    Great Cretan village -- has everything you need: pharmacy, bakeries, butcher, supermarket, many tavernas, great stores with Cretan art, pottery, olive wood, olive oil, spices, and so on. You can also get airport transfers and take buses to other parts of the island!

    Our main. reason for visiting the area was because we were attending a wedding. I did find that Adelianos Kampos was located near to a lot of pick ups for tours around Crete to allow you to experience other areas around the island. Many places to eat around the area, but none that really stuck out for me that I would recommend. Just walk around the area because there is much to choose from.

    I really like Platanes, it's not too far from the busy Rethymno centre and slightly more relaxed than being near the main areas, but still has nice restaurants and beach bars etc. and good access to main roads etc. if you like to get out and adventure without getting stuck in congestion, which can sometime be found neare to centre.

    People say not much there, but we felt it had everything there. Good supermarket, beach good as not spoiled by sun beds all over so you can actually see the beach. Several great bakeries and some good restaurants to choose from. Bus stop into city if needed.

    It's a quiet village with very friendly people and along the beach road you very quickly arrive at the next village that has a mini market and 3 or 4 tavernas. It's not for people looking for nightlife and shops. A car is needed to get there and to be able to go to bigger town with shops and other sights of interest. Our favourite places in Rodakino were Korakas beach cafe; Super market Zafeirakis where the lady was friendly and helpful and Nikos & Anna Taverna. Just a little further away the taverna at Peristeres beach is definitely my favourite place to eat.

    The villa is well placed and suitable for up to 4 people. The local cafes and tavernas provide great food and drink at reasonable prices. The beach is lovely and less crowded than the naturist beach which looked very busy. We used Damnoni water sports for paddleboarding and kayak and they were excellent
