Arachova is not the place to have rounds with your car, Main Street is very narrow with two car lanes!!! There are public parking lots, two of them just right after the village. Really worth the burden to visit the ancient sightseeing’s. The town has two coves used as harbours. The yacht marina has many restaurants and pubs. There are several expensive hotels in the town and a few less expensive ones, as well as shops and a pharmacy. It is a charming, small town with many streets for walking by the sea. An Orthodox church stands tall above the town. which itself has a very long history, dating back to the 8th century BC. Nice little village neat Parnassos. It feels like the local businesses are never ready to accommodate visitors in high demand period (Long weekends/ Holidays). Most persons come to Delphi for the day from Athens.
Most persons come to Delphi for the day from Athens. We stayed over night. The town is small and the restaurant we found was a mom & pop place which added some charm, but after visiting the archaeological site and museum, we could have easily driven to Athens and stayed there, so it depends on one's itinerary as to the need to stay in Delphi overnight.Guest review bySteveUnited States - 10.0

This place is absolutely charming.
This place is absolutely charming. There are a number of small beaches right across from the village, many with a shower, changing cabin and umbrella. We used Itea as a base to travel to Galaxidi, Delphi, and Arcahova. It’s an attractive little place with sea front cafes/food/bars.
