We needed a hotel to spend the night in Piraeus because we had a really early boat. This was reasonably priced and right up our alley in terms of comfort, decoration and overall service. The room was big and beautiful, tastefully decorated and modern, with good toiletries and complementary water. Really comfortable bed and pillows. The wifi worked well. It is within walking distance to the metro and the port, do check where your boat leaves from however, the port is ginormous and some gates are like 40 mins away. The receptionist was super fun and nice and received us really well. We left at 6 in the morning (with an Uber since our gate was E2 and that is far) so we did not have breakfast. Next time we have to stay in Piraeus we will stay here for sure. Really good choice!

The suite is fully equipped and brand new. There is enough space for two to three people. We were able to park infront. But when you go in and out in the narrow driveway you have to be careful. If something was going on, I could reach the staff at any time and it was taken care of immediately. The rooms can all be heated well with the air conditioning even in the cold season. There are also shutters for darkening.

    Everything was excellent. We booked a regular twin room but got an upgrade so we stayed in a spacious deluxe twin room. Food served for breakfast was delicious and diverse. We came by car and got a parking space right in front of the hotel. The location was OK with us because we didn't mind a 30 minute walk to the main attractions in the city. The hotel is next to the main road, the neighborhood is OK, well lit and surprisingly clean (since it is a huge city with millions of people). The hotel is very well maintained and clean, the rooms are also well equipped with everything you might need. The hotel staff is super professional and helpful; all of them (at the reception desk and restaurant, the maids). They advised us on what to see, which the most scenic routes and streets are, what public transport is the best to use (since traffic in Athens is nerve-racking). All in all, we would stay there again.

    This hotel is our all time favorite in the whole world and it is actually just difficult to describe all the reasons with the right words but the vibe here is extraordinary and all of the staff are so nice and helpful. First of all you have the friendly and comfortable athmosphere. The breakfast in the restaurant is really delicious and the restaurant offers really high quality food at relatively low price. Clean, extremely beautiful hotel and surroundings just wonderful right at beach and the seaside in Skala, Agistri where the sea is crystal clear. We really love the friendly atmosphere in Aktaion Botique hotel and not to forget theyr’e cute dog Luna and the Parrots Coco and Dodo who are also providing for a family friendly athmosphere. For us this is just like a little paradise away from home and we will absolutely be coming back (hopefully) every year.

    This is a special hotel with local charm and a relaxed vibe. The rooms were comfortable and clean and the beachfront location was great when you wanted to relax on the lovely sun loungers by the sea. Loved the app where you could order drinks or food to your lounger or room and food was top class. The staff make this place extra special, there were so helpful, expecially so when we need some extra help to see a doctor too. The island itself has so much to offer and there are plenty of bars, restaurants and other beach areas within walking distance.

    The rooms and building were beautiful -high celings, styled in an antique way. Amazing Service- The staff were wonderful. Breakfast was really good- coffee, juice, toast with spreads, mix of fruit, greek yogurt, honey and a choice of eggs cooked your way. The beds were comfortable Great location as 5 or 7 minutes walk from Port. Minimal stairs compared to the rest of the island . Slight incline up from Port, but only a feew stairs up at the hotel.     Every thing. The stuff was always nice and did their best to make us feel great in every aspect. The hotel it self is absolutely beautiful and all the facilities are great. We loved the beach and the chairs were amazing. There are two small towns about 15 minutes away in the car where you can go for a walk and shopping. There are a few small trails around the hotel which is great after we are all the amazing food the hotel had.

    We stayed at the hotel with our 3 generation family. The hotel has super centrally located. No need for taxi's to reach the main attractions of athens or for going for diner of shopping. Excellent rooms. We were astonished by the 100% view on the acropolis from our terraced suite. The breakfast had all options, the indoor spa and pool were luxurious and all staff were helpfull and friendly. A recommendation!

    We were given a clean room with a beautiful view in an overall very nice hotel with friendly and professional staff and a delicious breakfast. If you want to explore Poros, just be aware that the hotel is a bit out of the way, which may add to its charm, but can also mean you have to walk longer distances. We simply rented a scooter and had a wonderful time finding places off the map.

    It's easy to reach hotel from airport via metro, station is right next to the hotel. My room had a decent sized balcony, perfect for smokers.     This was a personal trip for me as I lived in Athens & returned to collect some belongings. Athens has a good, fairly-priced transport system (When there are no strikes/demonstrations) & is generally safe for lone female travellers. SO many historical sites to see, many of which can be seen simply by walking around the centre BUT wear comfortable, sensible shoes as the pavements aren't in good condition. Best to visit in spring or autumn as very hot in summer & beaches aren't that nice nowadays since the city has spread out towards the coast. Lots of museums to go to if it's raining/cold & a great base from which to visit other parts of the Greece.

    My online info about Tinas Village was exactly what the place was all about. The pick up and return to the airport was great and accurate. The rooms were exactly as expected, everything was clean. The breakfast was fine, not super fancy but better than was we were expected. Not much to do there, sleep, relax and go to where you are planning to go. Everyone working at Tinas was nice to deal with, great experience.

    The property was spotless. The ower was suportive and offered the transfer to the international airport because there was taxi industrial action at the time. The appartment was very close to the sandy beach. And you may find a very nice bakery round the corner and many shops. To sum it up I intend to return to this property again while traveling .

    The island is very touristy.

    The island is very touristy. The tourists are concentrated in a limited area. There seem to be more tourists than Greeks. The Greeks servicing the tourists seemed to be overwhelmed and many did not appear to be friendly.

    This is a beautiful island. The sea is warm and inviting.

    This is a beautiful island. The sea is warm and inviting. The beaches, although there is some sand, are very stony, and beach shoes are recommended. We went on a boat trip to navigate the island, taking a route that circled the entire island. It was a small boat and we were driving it ourselves. The day was slightly windy, and the sea we didn't realise was quite rough once you moved away from the beach. We only lasted one hour of the four-hour trip booked. It would have been better to have been warned that the sea would be rough, as we would have chosen another day for our trip. There are many boats, including sailing, charter, and private vessels, visiting Poros, making the port very busy. The boats were fascinating to watch. There are numerous excellent tavernas, and they are not expensive. They serve a variety of local dishes, including fresh seafood and traditional Greek cuisine. The boat transfer from Athens takes only one hour, and the ferry operator is very prompt. I recommend a visit to Poros.

    My father was born here so my 1st cousins live here.

    My father was born here so my 1st cousins live here. I brought my husband and sons here to introduce them. I loved my stay here meeting up with them again and revisiting all the places I’d been to before and seeing how much things had changed. It’s a beautiful little town with the beach being so close too.

    We stayed in the very comfortable harbor area of Aegina Town. Just a 40-minute ferry from Athens' Pireaus port. Ancient sites to visit. Lots of harbor restaurants for beverages and dining. A relaxing way to settle in from international travel before our extended tour of Athens and the Peloponnese tour. Would have been a great wind-down stay afterward too.

    You need to find time to discover the island and walk through all the little streets. I don't necessarily recommend a walking tour of the island, like we did, but with enough water and the right shoes, it can be a pleasant adventure.

    a lovely quiet little villiabge, hugging the coastline with spectacular sunsets and beaches. Plenty of options for food and refreshments, and some shops for holiday essentials. Easy drive to the end of the island (Only really one road) to beautiful beaches with beach bars and loungers and easy parking. Skala has a jetty catering for the various ferries plus visiting yachts. the beach is great for swimming - soft white sand, with no rocks or weeds, shelving very slowly.
