Spotless Hotel. The staff are lovely and always have a smile and say hello. Natalia and joel- amazing with the guests. We were half board, and the quality of food was excellent. Always a lovely choice for breakfast and dinner. I can't fault the food or drinks. The welcome, checkin, location, room, amenities , facilities, staff, food, pool, entertainment. All excellent. I wanted a five star hotel for a peaceful holiday. Lava beach delivered. Bravo to you guys. I will see you next year.

I loved everything! Starting with the location of the hotel "pieds dans l'eau "with an infinity pool and two jacuzzis directly overlooking the sea, an easy access to the near beaches, lush greenery and palm trees all over and littlevm nooks set up in the garden. The food quality was excellent, the buffet was very varied and changed every day of the week, mumtopled healthy options too, there are two other restaurants available à la carte. The atmosphere in the evening was, calm, cozy and romantic with live violin players or a saxophonists. The decor of the the of the hotel was to my taste, it is modern exotic with a touch of originality, "du charme" et "du cachet". The even most pleasant thing was the customer service, the staff is really very well trained, very polite, attentive and anticipated my needs.

Absolutely fabulous hotel, staff cannot do enough for you and the facilities are stunning. Rooms are huge and have everything you could possibly need including luxury toiletries, mini bar, two tv's and bluetooth speakers. Only a short walk or taxi journey to the seafront so in an ideal location.

Volcanic Lanzarote, one of the Spanish Canary Islands, features the dramatic landscapes of the Timanfaya National Park and the lush beaches of Papagayo and Blanco.     This was our second year staying at a villa at playa roca, we have completely fallen in love with Costa Teguise for our family. We love the restaurants as they are a very good standard and the cost is also good. Definitely much cheaper than eating out in the UK. Love the evening entertainment with live singers in very spacious bars and the cost of cocktails are definitely half the price of UK prices. There is a beautiful walk around the resort where you have cyclists, e scooters , walkers and wheelchair users and it is lit in the evening. We have walked this at midnight and love the fact you never feel unsafe. There are lots of play areas for young children and it’s definitely a family oriented resort. They offer water sports at the beach like windsurfing and other water sports. The party people often tend to be in Puerto del carmen which keeps this resort so family friendly and safe.

    The church and restaurants are very close.

    The church and restaurants are very close. La minoca restaurant is very good, prices and quality. The cooker Manny is the best, one of the owners is very gentil and cuban waitress are very diligents. Good vibe and environment over there. This restaurant is in San Gines Charco. Ask for a cuban "mojito" and you will remember me. Good luck.

    Playa Honda is quiet, and more residential, full of lovely locals.... beautiful walks along the beach front, easy access to shops, buses, restaurants etc... not a lot of tourists, so you can appreciate the culture more. Just love it. We enjoy walking, so a nice 40 minute walk takes you into Arrecife, or you can get a bus into Costa Teguise or Matagorda, hire a bike and cycle along the path both ways.... La Opera, Goliath's, Bechamell restaurants are lovely, good prices and lots of choice. It really is a piece of heaven on earth in Playa Honda.

    A small town with plenty of people around using the facilities for their daily life. Not a lot of choice of places to eat but enough the fakily run Spanish Taverna was amazing this I would recommend the best value ever and so friendly. Shut on a Sunday so you are warned lol!!!

    Where we stayed in Yaiza was very quiet. A great location for a large group like ours but a must is to have a hire car to enable you to travel freely in and out of more lively areas around the island.

    I was there in early March, and it did feel a bit off-seasony and quiet. Some of the cafes I had wanted to try were closed until the end of March. Still, a small handful of good restaurants, and easy access by road to the other parts of the island, so it was a good base to explore from. I recommend Ikarus for fresh fish, Boutique del pan-San Rafael for coffee, and the Creperia for cheap/cheerful tapas and drinks outside with music. I found the locals all very friendly.
