FAQs about hotels in Andalucía
Pulsating with History and Tradition
Resounding with flamenco, the fabulous Spanish region of Andalusia (or Andalucía) has world-class attractions, wonderful scenery and welcoming beaches.
Some of the best Andalusia hotels are in Costa del Sol resorts including Nerja and glitzy Marbella, neighbour of exclusive Puerto Banús. Nearby is Málaga, Picasso’s city with relics of its Roman past.
Moorish influences have also left magnificent marks. Formerly a mosque, the incredible Córdoba Mezquita is now a cathedral. Against the backdrop of the Sierra Nevada mountains, the Alhambra is a former sultans’ residence looking down on lovely Granada, home to some romantic Andalucia hotels and apartments on Booking.com.
You can ski in the Sierra Nevada, and also in mountains by Aracena north of Seville, the region’s sun-drenched capital with a gigantic Gothic cathedral and amazing architecture in Plaza de España. It also has a ring where controversial bullfighting occurs.
Its nearest beaches are on the Costa de la Luz, between Isla Canela (by Portugal) and Tarifa. Nearby is Algeciras, across the bay from Gibraltar. Other popular Andalusia beaches are in Costa de Almería resorts including Roquetas de Mar and Mojacar.
Inland, on a steep escarpment, Arcos de la Frontera, is one of the White Villages of Andalusia. Nearby is Jerez, home of sherry. To the east is Ronda with its high bridge spanning a deep gorge.

- From US$70.55 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.4Very good - What previous guests thought, 124 reviewsWe were probably very lucky that our pre-booked mobile house in different camping of this area got cancelled (maybe due to the storm it had passed 2 nights before we arrived, maybe due to the off-season laziness). We had arranged a ground floor apartement in this camping quickly instead. It shown up as a great descision. Everything went smooth, the place was clean, just our size for 2 with 2 kids. The restaurant was closed that night and next morning, but we arrived with some food which we just prepared in the kitchen easily. We didn’t expected more, even there were some shops opened around anyway. It might be little tricky with hot water for those who are not fully friendly with gas bottles, i didn’t find it as a problem but I’m sure the personnel would had been helpful.Guest review byPavelCzech Republic

It was a beautiful city, had lovely restaurants and bars which we thoroughly enjoyed. Unfortunately, Seville is like a maze and not very easy to get around. We found ourselves lost on numerous occasions but eventually made our way back to our apartment. It should be essential to provide a map on arrival at your accommodation.Guest review byLESLEYAustralia - 8.0
Málaga was very nice to visit.
Málaga was very nice to visit. Not to many tourists as one expected which made our visit more relaxing and enjoyable. The old town was very nice and lots of good restaurants and places to visit. Beaches were nice and clean. We all agreed that Málaga is a place that we would like to visit again.Guest review byFriðleifurIceland - 10.0

We absolutely loved Granada, simply wandering the narrow streets exploring the city. We enjoyed buying some cakes from the Monastery Santa Isabel La Real via the bell and revolving shelf behind the simple wooden door. We also loved the bars serving tapas with every drink. We absolutely loved spending 3hrs exploring Alhambra and Nasrid Palace which was a real highlight of our Andulusian trip. I think we will be back as we didn’t see everything Granada has to offerGuest review byRichardUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Great coastline full of lovely beaches. Sandy, safe, clean water and suitable for sunbathing or for families. Lots to do in Marbella itself but absolutely miles upon miles of coastline to work with, with lots of beach bars and little villages along the way.Guest review byjoUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Beautiful town with good public transport, nice streets with great food and souvenir shops. Lots of moments spent on near historical points like Colomares Castle, Alhambra, Alacazar, Gibraltar, Sevilla, Granada, cable car or dolphin view sea cruise in Benalmadena,… Public transport is good although it would be better to have something like hola card in Barcelona for all transport types - train, bus, payable with one card. In buses only cash… Everyone will find their own in Torremolinos - families, young people, single adults,…:-)Guest review byZuzanaCzech Republic - 8.0
Benalmadena is a lovely resort.
Benalmadena is a lovely resort. I went after the school holidays which I would recommend to couples without children. Still busy but manageable. Great places to eat and drink, lots of local attractions and if you want to save money get the train from the airport, just a few Euros.! Local Taxi fares seem to start at 5 Euro but never seem more that 8 Euro but if you struggle to walk distances (especially up the many hills) then they are great value.Guest review byJohnUnited Kingdom - 10.0

It's hard to explain why we liked Cadiz so much. The vibe of old town is great. Laid back, easy going, good food and coffee - what's not to like. Beaches are close by. Lots of character. Go to Cadiz!Guest review byBethanyUnited States - 8.0

Nerja is a beautiful small town on the coast not that far from Malaga. There are many places of interest here and nearby including The Caves, Balcon de Europa, Nature Gardens, Churches, Mountains, Lakes and other Traditional Villages. There are many beaches with their own characteristics and are great for many activities including sun-bathing and swimming. Nerja also has many beautiful paved lanes with little boutiques and a ton of restaurants to cater for all tastes. Paul from London. 😀Guest review byAnonymousNetherlands
