The staff were friendly and helpful. The food was ample, and tasty - with a mix of classic and creative dishes. We loved the half board option. Here you can buy a bottle of wine and they will keep what you don't drink for you for the next day. The hiking in the area is wonderful with blooming roses, lavender and other flowers along the path in April when we went, and though a bit cold for the pool when we were there it was perfect for hiking. The reviews for this hotel are very mixed because the road in, the isolation, and the wifi that didn't extend everywhere on the grounds are not for everyone. For instance if you drive in in a car that sits very low with low profile tires you are going to be unhappy. If you are there to surf on your phone you will be disappointed. But if you go for the reprieve from ordinary life and put the phone down, you will find yourself not wanting to leave this little piece of paradise.Guest review byMelanieCanada

We had a very warm welcome, everyone from the staff is very friendly and helpfull. You feel welcommed from stepping inside. Our daughter loved the ball pool and could loose some energy after the long car ride. We were there on our way back home to Germany for one night but definitely plan to come back for some more days, as Roses also is a beautiful town. Beautiful seaside town very clean. Lovely little shops & restaurants. You can enjoy a stroll along the sea front or take a boat trip along the coast to neighbouring villages or the mini train around the national park. There is a lot of history in the area you can visit the museum at the citadel and the neighbouring town of Castello de Emporium. If you like Salvador Dali you can visit his home in the qaint Village of Carques & the museum at Figueres. All very pretty towns. Everyone I met was enjoying themselves. The time spent in Figueres which was 7 days was just right for this visit, we attended a family wedding at the end of the week which was a 3 day occasion. I think that 3-4 days is probably a good length of time to embrace Figueres. The Town is lovely with nice shops, bars and restaurants and the Salvador Dali museum is definitely worth a visit. We took a Taxi to the resort of Roses which was a lovely day, visiting the beach, restaurants and town. You can also get around easily on the buses and trains. A beautiful, little town.
A beautiful, little town. The port is lovely and it's fun to walk around the little streets and discover hidden corners. The church is lovely with great views of the town and ocean. I didn’t like the management of the apartment.
I didn’t like the management of the apartment. It is very unpersonal, you get bombarded with rules , you have to drive to an office not close to the apartment to get your keys and check in and also to leave the keys at the end. I don’t know how we could have managed without a car. The cons: -No WIFI - this was a problem.
The cons: -No WIFI - this was a problem. -Not enough pillows per bed -No shower curtain or glass door whats spills outside the shower -need some chairs on the top terrase -Providing a binder with information of the area like Cafe, restaurants, supermarket, pharmacy, and entertaining things to do in the area would be ideal, i had to look it up or ask. PROS: -Number of beds per room -The way the house is divided inside gives more privacy -Great View from the top terrasse -Great back yard size -back yard furniture was perfect -Size of kitchen and living room, very comfortable -Decorated nicely, very original -Next to a golf course, perfect for golfer families -Very spacious for European standards -Very Safe and a cute picture perfect neighborhood. -The Casino : which we did not have time but others did -The Peralada Wine Cellar tour was my most favorite -The church and the area in front of the Castle where the wedding ceremony took place was just perfect! -I recommend staying at least 7 days to be able to go to The Dali museum in Figueres and other Dali craetions. -Visiting the Cathedral in Girona and walking in the tiny streets was very enjoyable and highly recommended -The famous antique library which I also did not have time to visit -SPARR super market in Peralada saved us -Croaks a veyr good Tapas place and loved their Tinto de Verano -We ate at Pagus the days they serve Pizza, these are gourmet style PIzza like never before combinations.Guest review byForkelUnited States - 10

Charming medieval town, very atmospheric. We happened to land in the middle of a festival which was an unexpected massive bonus. It was such fun! The hotel is spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The owner was friendly and helpful and went out of his way to assist us. We were delighted with our stay.
