I booked 3 nights and ended up staying 2 more months there! When I arrived at the bus station, I got picked up and was brought to the hotel. There's a pool, kitchen and a garden with date palm trees and olive trees. All rooms have a bathroom inside. The hotel is close to a lot of sights and only 1,5km from the city center "Shali" where you find markets and restaurants. You can take a taxi or just walk there. Bakkar and Mohamed from the hotel offer tours to all the sights. Individual tours are also possible. They are really helpful and friendly! I enjoyed my stay there. The hotel is an oasis inside the Siwa Oasis!

Hamu was very helpful and kind. His cafe has a really beautiful mood and delicious drinks as well. I highly recommend mango juice. Though it was a bit cold at night, you can ask for an additional blanket as well.

I was tossing up between a couple of hotels before booking but I am incredibly glad that I went with this one! Everything was exceptional the staff were very helpful and friendly and we had no issues whatsoever. The room was clean and incredibly comfortable. The food was incredible, the night we stayed we had a multi course dinner and the breakfast buffet had a lot of variety. The hotel has two sections of private beach one in front of the hotel and the other you can get to by jet ski. With all the amenities and the food, the hotel is well worth the price. Best hotel that I have been to in Egypt so far and a shame we only spent one night here!

everything was great and exceeded our expectations. The staff was very polite and helpful. The atmosphere is breathtaking , the whole team work for your comfort and your happiness for unforgettable trip . The facilities, Pool , the service and the staff, the food, the view from our room looking at the lake , Great private beach despite it far about 3 minutes by car form the hotel , amazing access to la femme beach . It was a superb experience and we will definitely come back. A big greet to all the employees of the hotel especially Mr. Abdalla in the reception , he was amazing person ! He is truly the best hospitality person ever and knows how to make his guests feel welcome and taken care of. In fact , All the staff at the hotel did their best to for our needs at all times. I understood from the smiles in their eyes that they do their work with great love. The overall the experience was Luxurious and comfy and Highly recommended Bravo to Le royal marina hotel team.

    I had amazing time with family there. Here our favorite place for summer vacation. Especially hotel stuff was really made our trip amazing. Everyone was soo friendly and helpful. They showed us real Egyptian hospitality. I want to have special thanks to Mr Saaed, Khattab, Mr Mahmoud , and in restaurant always welcomed us by smiling Mr Ammar and Mr Amr and Mr Nabel And biggest thanks to Manager Wala Hanem who made us feel like at home So not only the view but also this hospitality made us come back here again!     The worst place I’ve ever been to in my life.

    The worst place I’ve ever been to in my life. They humiliate you just to book a restaurant or go to the beach, with strange rules: entry is only allowed for couples, and for couples the woman must not be veiled. It’s extremely expensive, and I wouldn’t recommend anyone to even consider going there.

    Was the best surprise in our trip to Egypt. Marsa Matruh has two of the best beaches we ever saw in our lives: Cleopatra and Agiba. For sure we will be back. We loved also the Museum of Marsa Matruh. There is a McDonald's just in front of the beach, so you can eat your "big mac" or an ice cream with an amazing view!!! The people of the city are not very used to meet strangers in my opinion, it seems that differently of Sharm el Sheikh and Hurghada, Marsa Matruh is more focused for Egyptian tourism instead of foreigners, so not everybody speaks English there. Prices are cheaper than in other cities of Egypt. We had a taxi driver that became our friend even we only could talk using Google Translate. Very warm personality and we booked him to guide us in all the beaches in a day trip. We can't wait to return to those amazingly beautiful and crystal clear beaches!!!

    The chalet were clean and the terrace lake view was amazing. There are 3 beaches, the front of the resort is good but we enjoyed Sidi AbdElrhman beach. The cafeteria food was delicious and cheap. Owner was friendly and very welcoming. You must have a car to go to the 3 beaches.

    Mr. Mahmoud was such a friendly and helpful host. From day one, he took care of everything and made sure we felt comfortable throughout our stay. A welcome gift was waiting for us when we arrived, which was such a sweet gesture. The place was super clean and fully equipped with everything we could need, making our stay really comfortable.     It is not a city you can visit as a tourist.

    It is not a city you can visit as a tourist. You need to book in a resort which you may leave once during your stay to have a dinner in one of the bedouin restaurants in the area. If you’re not going for business make sure to pick a resort with all facilities you might need.
