At the check-in, we were offered a complimentary glass of sparkling wine. The bathroom was excellent. Everything was super clean. We had a giant clean glass window, ceiling-to-floor, facing in the Obří Důl direction and there was a comfortable sofa next to it. We were even able to open another (dark) window to get in some fresh mountain air. The buffet-style breakfast in the morning was absolutely stunning, given that we got all this relatively cheaply, off - season, through booking.com.

We've thoroughly enjoyed our weekend stay (family 2+1). The whole service/staff was outstanding and the meals at the hotel restaurant were excellent. The wellness facilities were nice, the massages were at a professional level. The children's playground and virtual room were a great bonus for our child.

Last year we stayed in Janske Lazne and cycled past the "Hotel Vydrovy boudy Pec pod Sněžkou", and we said, next time we come to Pec we have to stay there. And we just stayed there, as a family of four and our dog. What do we love about it ? The location is magnificent, it is on the plateau at the top of the mountain, you feel like you are on top of the world, it is a recently built mountain chalet, and done in a beautiful style, we had the half board and the breakfast and evening meal were absolutely perfect. The hotel is run by the owner who is very friendly and very helpful with local knowledge, where to hike, where to stop for lunch. In the evening you have beautiful sunsets with views which stretch for tens of miles, at night there is a quietness which cannot be matched. We need to explore Pec more, and we will be staying here again next time and using it as our base. What more to say, Hotel Vydrovy boudy Pec pod Sněžkou is a gem, enjoy it.

    This was our second time in Orea hotel in Harrachov and we truly loved it here. We love that the hotel is family oriented up to the smaller details (kids robes, slippers and blankets with the fox prints are super cute) and we fully enjoyed our stay here, while our kid was fully entertained. The wellness area is great, playroom is wonderful and very exciting for our son, breakfast and dinner very tasty with big selection of foods and kids buffet, in the evening we enjoyed nice cocktails in the lobby bar. Last but not least the nature around is very beautiful. Bonus was that it was snowing during the entire stay, which made it very magical for us and contributed to the overall atmosphere in the winter mountains. Kudos to the polite staff, who were always very helpful and friendly to the guests! We will definitely come again to Harrachov and we would love to visit any of the other Orea locations.

    Nice apartments both in size and comfort. Fully equipped kitchen and I mean really fully equipped I could only miss nespresso/coffe machine that one may expect from this level- full set of glassware/kitchenware, e.t.c. that we had not used but it was there. Very comfortable beds/sheets,e.t.c. Great breakfast and alternative to old reviews they do have both a coffee machine and American style filter coffee. A bottle of prosecco on ice was also nice. They managed to squeeze full breakfast into the available space - we had nothing to comply about. There is a nice lobby with terrace to the river side. You get one parking space and 90 minutes of wellness/spa access from morning till 17:00 on the roof.

    Very nice and clean hotel with fantastic service beginning from the very helpfull sir in the reception, restaurant waiters, to the service man who repaired my broken boot (big thank you - it worked even on the Śnieżka peak) :-)!     Very expensive and it feels they don't invest in the city. Some of the facilities look very old and unused. Most restaurants are overpriced and the quality is not on a high level. We were satisfied in Lebeda restaurant.

Here are some highlights and activities you can enjoy in and around Janske Lazne: - Adrspach Rocks: A stunning natural rock formation, perfect for hiking and photography. - Cerna Hora - Raselinisko: Accessible via the cable car, offering beautiful views and serene walks. - Vrchlabi City Walk: A charming town with picturesque streets and historical sites. - Pec pod Snezkou: Great for hiking and enjoying the mountain scenery. - Safari Park in Dvur Kralove: A fun and educational experience, especially if you love animals.     Touristy but small and picturesque town in the Krkonosse national park. It is one of the few mountain resorts in the area that's easily accessible by road from both the Czech and the Polish sides. The location is ideal for hiking and mountain biking in summer, as well as for a restful and lazy getaway. It also offers ski fields in the winter season, although less than the nearby main ski resort in Pec Pod Snezkou. Local restaurant options are limited.

Apartma Pavla was the best choice we made. We stayed there for three nights. It is located 100-150 m from the ski slope, behind a big sporthotel. The ski equipment can be rented from many renters, and the snow was there. We rented the equipment from the sporthotel which provided storage as well. Our host was amazing, starting from picking us up at the bus stop, handing over the keys, showing us around and helping us out in every way. The four-person flat had a small kitchen with all necessary utensils and a dining area, and the Tesco express shop was 10 minutes away by walk at the main bus stop. The village itself has all facilities and is definitely recommended for visiting. We took a ski lesson at the slope from a ski school, and kids were sliding down with confidence after one hour. Our host kindly offered sledges too, but we were all tired to use them after the busy days. Overall, this was an amazing holiday.

    It's a fantastic place for anyone interested in hiking and /or relaxing near beautiful forests and nature, as well as interesting castles and sights that aren't too far away. Don't expect much in the way of infrastructure, there are a couple of restaurants and a shop , it's very popular with young families with children. Really liked this place for its simplicity and cool climate during a heatwave.

    It's a wonderful place with special character and magical...

    It's a wonderful place with special character and magical vibe. Lots of great mountain hikes, perfectly marked tracks with mountain huts to enjoy some great local food and beer, of course. One of the top places in the country.

    A small and cozy town in the mountains.

    A small and cozy town in the mountains. It has some cafes and restaurants, but mostly it's the starting point for the mountain hiking. The town is clean, the buildings are pretty, walking is a pleasure.
