We loved the place - it is furnished and decorated with love and such attention to detail. You do feel welcomed and taken care of. I wasn’t aware that there was additional charge for sauna - my bad, I probably missed it in the description. We loved the food - the portions were fair and with three course dinners we were hardly managing to eat if all. Sandra kindly offered a full story behind each dish (whether it was traditional Swiss, which region, if locally grown, home made)! Sandra also mentioned the Tchapinna ski area which I recommend if you need to take it easy or have any beginners in your group (CHF36 ski pass which is great for Switzerland. Only ski lifts which is tiring after a while. Still a great day skiing just 10 min from Gasthause Alpina). 40km of piste but not as diverse and large as Flims Laax Falera where we preferred to spend most of our days (CHF90 per day). Honestly, the hospitality was second to none and so so genuine! Check-in was a breeze, even though I was slightly ahead of schedule and arrived during the lunch rush (sorry!). I had a burger and chips for lunch in the restaurant - delicious! Dinner I had Rehgeschnetzeltes - also absolutely divine and highly recommend. The room was very clean, quiet and comfortable. There was a little noise from other guests children slamming doors, but that happens anywhere and really wasn't an issue. We also had dinner in the hotel, the food was very good! Breakfast did not have many things to choose from. I think this was because there were not that many people in the hotel. Breakfast had everything we needed so it does not devalue our opinion of the hotel. The hostess was nice and gracious. Room was cosy, clean, with all you need. The breakfast was super tasty with good food quality. We will definetely stay here here in case we travel in this direction again.
