Gorgeous rooms, delicious food, and the owner (Simon) was so friendly and kindly helped my husband and I set up our ski touring equipment in his downstairs workshop and even gave us tips on ski touring because he is an incredible athlete! We so appreciated all the attention to detail at his fabulous hotel - highly recommend.

It is so different from other more well known areas where the tourists/visitors are such an overwhelming feature. Meiringen is a wonderful place for mountain enthusiasts. It is not nearly as touristic as the nearby Interlaken and offers the chance to enjoy nature including Reichenbach falls, glaciers and the Aare Gorge cozily. A perfect escape location with a real Swiss spirit.Guest review byKlimGermany - 8.0
