Caloundra is by far our favourite beach on the Sunshine Coast. We visit every year & usually spend a week there a couple of times annually! Its location is central to everything, with other beaches, cafes, restaurants, & beautiful countryside nearby. We also love visiting Maleny & Montville for a taste of the country. Caloundra even has an extended Sunday Market every fortnight, which is always a treat. In terms of shopping, Caloundra has everything you could imagine, just like in the city. Early morning beach walks are a must for us! About 25 minutes away is the Sunshine Plaza Shopping Centre in Maroochydore, which is definitely worth a visit. With restaurants, bars, & coffee shops overlooking the water, it really gives you that holiday feeling while shopping. If you’re looking for a relaxing massage, Magic Massage is a place we visit every single time we go to the shopping centre. David, the owner, is extremely professional, & the masseurs are amazing. Last weekend, I had a massage with Coco, she was incredibly knowledgeable & truly understands how the body functions, helping to get rid of all the knots & tensions in my body!Guest review byCarmen - 10.0
Noosa never disappoints.
Noosa never disappoints. Great restaurants, including the surf club. Great to see so many people out and about exercising and smiling. We ate at Gustos and Little Sparrow for dinner. Magnificent service and delicious food. The Surf Club is our favourite every visit and the exceptional service from young Chloe. The bus is a great option for transport, but a good idea to have your Go Card on you, as my husband was charged a lot to travel, using his bank account.Guest review byRobynAustralia - 10.0

We have been travelling to Mooloolaba for over 25 years, and just love it. We have watched it develop from an underdeveloped “little sister” to Noosa, to a thriving superstar of a location. It is definitely the best beach on the Sunshine Coast. The town planners have done an excellent job of making Mooloolaba a wonderful place to visit. From the boardwalk to the strengthening of the sand dunes/sea wall, to the vegetation surrounding the town, and the fabulous picnic areas and playgrounds for the public. Business owners have responded with many, many wonderful restaurants, shops and other services. Most of the buildings, I noticed when we very recently visited, have been revamped and there is much more parking with a cleverly disguised multi-level car park. Mooloolaba has my heart, and if you visit, it will have yours, also.Guest review byLahiffAustralia - 8.0

We stayed at Apartment 14 & were very disappointed with the level of cleanliness. The carpets were dirty and in need of a professional clean. There was visible dirt on the floors, with the tiled areas sticky underfoot. The ensuite sink had not been cleaned with sand left on the counter and the shower still had hair inside. The top of the fridge was dusty and dirty and the furniture, particularly the couches had sweat mark from continual use and had not been cleaned. The balcony was also covered in sand and bird droppings. Overall, the apartment felt unclean and poorly maintained. We paid for 2 nights but left after 1. I have photos I can share.Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0

Great area for a vacation situated in a section of the south bank of the Noosa River between Tewantin and Noosa Sound. There is a plethora of round-a-bouts in this local Council area and for visitors it can be a bit confusing when driving as it is easy to turn off one of them prematurely and find yourself heading in an unintended direction. Plus the traffic often is moving at pace and at times it is a matter for extreme caution to avoid impact. Better signage on approach would help tremendouslyGuest review byRoadTrip101Australia - 10.0

The beach was nice and there was a good variety of eateries close by. The bus service was great to use. It was also a good base to travel to some other destinations like Eumundi Market and Australia Zoo.Guest review byBrett HandAustralia - 10.0

Best is cleanliness and staffs were all helpful and friendly. Parking was plenty and secured. Just one thing with TV, I couldn’t link to their wifi so I couldn’t watch Netflix but overall was amazing. Definitely will choose to stay here again when I’m up for work.Guest review byMsOnnichaAustralia - 10.0

Montville is a gorgeous town in the Sunshine Coast hinterland .. I just love it and keep coming back. So close to everything - including beaches, shopping centres - yet far enough away to escape from the world! Cool winters, open fireplaces and autumn leaves make the place even more special.Guest review byJoanneAustralia - 10.0

Coolum beach is a good spot to stay and within easy reach of other attractions on the Sunshine Coast. It has good facilities and services such as a number of cafes, shops and restaurants. The beach was great and there is also a good playground for children.Guest review byPaulineAustralia - 10.0
Maleny is a quaint, beautiful and magical place.
Maleny is a quaint, beautiful and magical place. We loved the trail from the property into town, loved to walk around the little boutique shops and also great that all amenities can be bought there. The pharmacy isn't open on Sunday's so take note. We recommend booking restaurants ahead of time.Guest review byKelly FenningAustralia
