- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.3Superb - What previous guests thought, 204 reviews**Review of Treetops Montville** I recently had the pleasure of staying at Treetops Montville, and I can confidently say it was an extraordinary experience that exceeded all my expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were enveloped in the beauty of the surroundings, making it a true nature lover's paradise. One of the highlights of our stay was the thoughtful birthday decorations that we had requested. It was such a delightful surprise to walk into our accommodation and find it beautifully adorned. It truly made the occasion feel special and memorable. The fridge was stocked with an impressive array of breakfast goodies and wine bottles—far more than I had ever encountered in any other holiday stay. It was such a treat to have everything we needed right at our fingertips, making our mornings leisurely and enjoyable. The location itself is nothing short of breathtaking. The soothing sounds of the nearby creek added a serene ambiance that made our stay even more relaxing. If you appreciate the beauty of nature, Treetops Montville is a must-visit destination. The swimming pool was another fantastic feature, offering a perfect blend of privacy and tranquility. It was the ideal spot to unwind and soak up the stunning surroundings. I am already planning my next holiday with Treetops Montville, as this experience has left me eager to return. If you're looking for a getaway that combines luxury, nature, and exceptional service, look no further than Treetops Montville. Highly recommended!Guest review bySonikaAustralia
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.6Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 102 reviewsno wishes left open, the perfect bungalow and interior, the quiet, scenic setting with the little things here and there, the kangaroos grazing, the delicious breakfast... all obviously well maintained. As we had on the first day extremely heavy rain that had several roads flooded (so we were nearly locked in), the couple running the nearby cafe came and asked if we needed anything like food ... really took care. This place is like in a dream - full score.Guest review byElkeGermany
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.0Superb - What previous guests thought, 564 reviewsMaleny Tropical Retreat is a gem. The place has been curated with authentic Balinese furniture and decor, creating a unique, calming environment. The place is well laid out, clean and very comfortable. The star of the show is the amazing view from the patio, overlooking the mountains and Baroon lake. The host and owner, Ken, was kind and made us feel very welcome. The continental breakfast supplied was great. We will definitely return.Guest review byBrianaCanada

Lush green, has a tropical rainforest on premises, beautifully landscaped. Inspired by French luxury. Has an amazing restaurant Long Apron on the property. The staff is very nice, knowledgeable and gives great recommendations. Around the property, lots of scenic drives, walks and activities in a 30 minute radius, in the Sunshine coast hinterlands.Guest review byATISHIndia
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.6Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 239 reviewsAlan was the perfect host and went above and beyond to welcome and familiarise us. He even offered to drive us to local restaurants so we could relax and have a couple of glasses of wine. Breakfast comprised beautiful fresh produce with freshly baked croissants delivered in the morning too. Spotlessly clean and lovely. I highly recommend The Falls Montville.Guest review bySusanUnited Kingdom

Montville is a lovely little locale with some great dining spots, art studios and natural elements to enjoy. We liked our brunch at Priscilla's Gallery and had yummy scones at Poet's Cafe. We also had some nice dinners in the Bar and Grill - good wines there too. We also enjoyed listening to the live music from the beer garden. Kondalilla and Gardner's Falls are worth the visit while you're here.Guest review byLeeaAustralia - 10.0
Maleny is a quaint, beautiful and magical place.
Maleny is a quaint, beautiful and magical place. We loved the trail from the property into town, loved to walk around the little boutique shops and also great that all amenities can be bought there. The pharmacy isn't open on Sunday's so take note. We recommend booking restaurants ahead of time.Guest review byKelly FenningAustralia - 8.0

Nambour is an old established town but it provides easy and quick access to the Sunshine Coast( around 20 mins to the Sunshine Coast airport) where accommodation could be considerably more expensive. My stay in the Nambour Heights Motel was directly opposite the Nambour Hospital and relatively close to other places in the area. It was 11 minutes from the Buderim Ginger Factory and very close to the Big Pineapple. Also close to the Bli Bli water ski park which appeared to be a huge complex.Guest review byMichaelAustralia - 10.0
My favourite Italian restaurant was open.
My favourite Italian restaurant was open. So a hot pizza on a cold night made all the difference to our stay. The local store has a great variety of foods for snacks or dinner and then it's nice just to walk around and explore the town.Guest review byGrahamAustralia - 10.0

The main attraction in Beerwah is Australia Zoo but we actually skipped the zoo this time and opted out for a quieter and more peaceful trip. There are so many beautiful landscapes and walks to enjoy in the area and it's only a short drive to Maleny or Montville as well. If you are seeking a relaxing experience, I'd definitely recommend visiting those two little towns. We enjoyed the Thai Restaurant in Maleny and strolls through the streets of Montville followed by a hearty lunch at The Edge Restaurant. We also visited the Botanic Gardens & Bird Sanctuary in Maleny which was AMAZING!Guest review byLisaGermany - 10.0
What a beautiful area.
What a beautiful area. Coming froM SA were we are in drought it was great rto see everything so green and lush. Many little quaint towns to visit. With many eateries and gorgeous shops We dined at the glass house mountain Tavern food was delicious and reasonably priced.Guest review byChristineAustralia - 10.0
Hiking in the area is always fantastic.
Hiking in the area is always fantastic. The shops are quaint and quirky if that's your thing (not really mine) but for me it's the region's nature that keeps me coming back. To that end, there are pretty limited mid-range accommodation options that aren't in the townships. Some areas have more of that sort of thing nestled right among the mountains and forests, whereas in this area that kind of accommodation is harder to find and more expensive - though if you're willing to head down the range to the Eudlo area (it's only a 20 minute drive) you can do well staying there and taking day trips up the mountains.Guest review byRobAustralia - 10.0
Excellent stay. Everything was absolutely fantastic.
Excellent stay. Everything was absolutely fantastic. Beautiful home in the most magnificent setting. Everything and more was catered for. Honor was helpful and informative. Very kind. I actually cried the morning we had to leave. Definitely could have stayed, much longer.Guest review byLynneUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Great property for family travelling with ensuite bathrooms.
Great property for family travelling with ensuite bathrooms. The property is dated but it meats the style of an old Queenslander. If it was modernised would spoil character.Great wrap round verandah which is gated and can be closed off for young children to safely play. Plenty of utensils and crockery etc in the kitchen, some older adding to the character Will be back to explore this property walking opportunities, dam, ,cattle and horse furtherGuest review byLorraineAustralia - 10.0

Montville is a gorgeous town in the Sunshine Coast hinterland .. I just love it and keep coming back. So close to everything - including beaches, shopping centres - yet far enough away to escape from the world! Cool winters, open fireplaces and autumn leaves make the place even more special.Guest review byJoanneAustralia
