- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.5Very good - What previous guests thought, 170 reviewsIt was a pleasure stay at The Banff Apartment at Pension Grimus Hotel. Since our checked in, The Receptionist who was young Lady was very friendly, helpful and provides a professional service to us. The restaurant is the best, the whole team of it deserves 5 stars recommendation. The apartment complete with kitchen, washing machine and dryer and fire place. It was neat, tidy and clean. The location is just door to door to Ski lift. The hotel is very recommendable for winter family holiday on Mt. Buller.Guest review byJamesIndonesia
- From US$150.48 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.0Very good - What previous guests thought, 389 reviewsManagement and staff were the best, very welcoming, helpful and friendly, any concerns we had were soughted promptly. Our room was very clean and warm and plenty of room for the 4 of us. The restaurant food was delicious. The new owners have done some amazing renovations since I was there in 2022 snow season. Love the new cafe opening out to Bourke Street and the pool table area. And off course the location is 10/10. Great place for families to stay, can't wait to stay there next year.Guest review byCatherineUnited Kingdom

It has been over 20yrs since i have visited Buller in the Winter and stayed overnight. I found the B-Tag system not as user friendly as one would like. I tried topping up my daughters pass and in the end had to go to ticketing. fortunately the honoured the cheaper pricing. We ate at the Buller Chalet, great food and reasonable prices for the mountain. Staff here were lovely. Also ate at The Villager - excellent food and also good value. Staff here were great. Kofflers staff all amazing. I do believe however there really needs to be a cap on how many come to this mountain now. The bus loads of day trippers was something I have never ever seen in my life! Tim to either expand this resort or get a new mountain to open up!!Guest review bySilkyappleAustralia - 10.0
We enjoyed our time there.
We enjoyed our time there. I booked 2 tickets for the lift only to realise I can't use them unless I am skeying. I don'tthink it stated anywhere. The lady at the Altitude manage to short out my tickets for something more useful.Guest review byLucyAustralia - 10.0
We loved the snow village feel to the place!
We loved the snow village feel to the place! It is expensive, however, we saw where the money is going. The facilities are excellent and well-kept, the staff are very friendly, and everyone is very helpful and patient, even when visitors do something silly. The town is well-lit at night, and it feels very safe. There are plenty of activities for children and adults. There are plenty of great places to eat out, and we found that just about every accommodation on offer offers cooking facilities.Guest review byElena
