Perfect location to spend the night before my wedding. Quiet and was able to rest properly. Clean and comfy. Was feeling at home. Wonderful spacious 2 bed 2 bath apartment. Great location in Hunter valley. Facilities on Site - GOLF, SPA, CONVENIENCE STORE / BOTTLE SHOP (limited stock but useful) , 2 POOLS etc... Resort has a high end luxury feel as expected in Hunter Valley ACCESS TO 2 POOLS. The Nineteen (large bar / restaurant / roof terrace - great to have this - a super facility for Coffee, Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner all available - excellent food truck also - with Oysters, Prawns and Fried Chicken - very affordable. Very comfortable beds and bedding. Lovely fluffy pool towels left in wardrobe in each room. Mini Bar left filled and paid if required.

    Amazing location! Close to all the vineyards and so peaceful even though it's just off the main road. A highlight was waking up to kangaroos just outside the bedroom window. The rooms are spacious and clean and the fridge/freezer was the perfect size. İt was that good that we wanted to extend our stay but it's a popular place and was fully booked the next night. Communication with staff in the leadup and after the trip was brilliant.

    The breakfast was excellent, the Rooms quite large with a great outlook. We liked the Olive Grove rooms personally, they looked out onto greenery, pool and sometimes where the kangaroos gathered. Location was pretty good with many vineyards around. However, driving was very easy. Nice to be able to walk to their restaurant or to 4 Pines across the road. Nice pool.

    Great location, full house facilities and a nice stay. The only downfall was that the store was out of order and was not advised prior to arrival which we needed for our grand children’s towels and clothes . Had we known we would have brought along extra items. The pool area great and accommodating.

    The hotel seems to have been recently renovated, and all the facilities exceeded our expectations. The coffee machine was a great bonus! It’s an ideal choice for family trips, and its location makes visiting nearby wineries very convenient. Situated right in the heart of Maitland, the hotel is surrounded by shopping, dining, and leisure options. The riverside walkway was perfect for morning and evening dog walks. We stayed with our pet, and the pet fee was very reasonable. Overall, a fantastic experience!

    Cessnock was a stepping stone to visit the Correction Centre; access by Public transport was good / satisfactory ... Bus 164 from/to Maitland station... would welcome 2 per hour! I soon learnt NOT to try booking a Cab (4990 1111) at night - very busy and no response; early morning was v good and quick; had a good, obliging Cab driver to and from the CC. Town seems to have plenty of Cafes.

    We love visiting the wineries.

    We love visiting the wineries. Also close to Pokolbin main centre. Lovely being there on Saturday as there were markets at the wineries close by. Very close to the zoo. We could hear the lions roaring in the morning...really cool.

    Fantastic array of heritage homes within the town.

    Fantastic array of heritage homes within the town. We had a lovely lunch at the Assar Cafe which we highly recommend. Dinner at the Golf Club & RSL, excellent. Visited relatives, so not much sightseeing. Called in at Lake Liddell, well worth a look or picnic/ BBQ lunch.

    Our trip was for 2 nights to visit family cousins and to see the old homes of my grandparents and great grandparents and after our visits we were disappointed as there was very little to do while we were in Singleton Town Centre.

    Muswellbrook tend to be my home town soon.

    Muswellbrook tend to be my home town soon. A lot of activities for the kids around the town: parks, playgrounds even there is a ten pin bowling and cinema. It is a bit unexpected to be so community focused for a small rural town. Good restaurants are available: Indian, Thai, Chinese cousins and of course traditional Aussie pubs. The prices are average, so you will be pleased of not spending too much. 2 shopping malls are also available with all 3 main Australia grocery stores, so not an issue to top up your stock before travelling further inland.

    The property does not deserve a 8.1 rating. Could not use the shower or the air conditioner due to there below poor condition, including foul smell. Beds were terrible. Motel was cramped with terrible parking. It was a very unpleasant stay, we couldn’t wait to leave.

    Great shower, and that is where it stops, massive gap under the door let's cold in and dust only a small hand broom to go over the floor it was so gritty to walk on blinds don't fit properly so cannot keep the light out plus when it's windy they swing so light dark light dark and only 1 thin blanket to keep warm noisy heating overall would not stay again

    Enjoyed parklands & wetlands nearby! Good central area for lower Hunter valley. Train station very close to motel to travel into Newcastle & Maitland & upper Hunter. Very close to Expressway entry & the new section coming soon just to the east with new Hunter river bridge!
