United KingdomWonderful place to stop over on my travels through Europe by motorcycle. The room was huge and super comfortable, the facilities were excellent and staff all lovely.
I had dinner in the restaurant too and it was fantastic. Breakfast was exceptional - the best spread I've ever had whilst on my European road trips.
There are also communal areas with books and games, which is a bonus.

Breakfast was excellent with good choices.
Dinner on half board was inclusive of drinks, including wine and beer. Buffet courses to start with a choice of main course served to the table.
Room was large and beds comfortable.
Access to the lake about 15mins walk down to the boat station. Bit of a hill coming back.

Very nice location, directly at the lake, close to the mountains, lots of hiking trails, beautiful places nearby, easy to reach by train. The kitchen is fully equipped ( even with a gadget fridge ), has a nice firework place to relax, the view is over the forest and you can re-connect with the nature. Annenheim is a very small town on the Ossiacher See. We were there for only three days, out of season (end of April) and with bad weather, so we did not explore as much as we would have if the weather were better. We did some walks around the lake and in the forest around it. There are many different trails, from easy to hard. There is also paragliding, possibility to rent boats, skiing in winter. One thing we noted is that out of season almost every restaurant/cafe in the area is closed (one would need to go to Villach to eat out).Guest review byLauraAustria - 8.0
