The location is great; small island in lake Bunyonyi, perfect to disconnect for some days from the busy Kampala. There is not much to do around, but that fits perfect if what you are looking for is peace and quiet. The lodge has a private swimming deck to the lake- highly recommended to go for a swim there! And shoutout to the library they have- it made by day when I got there. They also provide with free Black Tea in case you fancy that as companion to the reading, appart from the great views. The profits from the lodge go back to the island communities, so we paid dinner with pleasure.

Establecido en Kabale, Wycliffˋs Eco Resort ofrece hospedaje con estacionamiento privado de cortesía. Wycliff es un anfitrion estupendo, la habitación bastante grande pero las vistas desde allí son increíbles. Me organizo un paseo en barco de 2 horas por el lago, tambien organiza otros tours, como el de Batwa. Tenéis que reservar su alojamiento, el dinero lo utiliza para ayudar a los niños.

La atencion de la dueña fue espectacular. Nos consiguió todas las cosas que necesitabamos. El lugar esta cercano a colegios donde los niños te saludan al salir y al entrar. Recomendable este lugar.

Boat and Kanu cruises around the lake if you need something to do at reasonable prices. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Rooms are spaceous and clean. Wifi the best we had on the whole trip in Uganda.

I truely enjoyed the atmosphere during our stay, as it feels as if you are on your own planet, as there is just you and the incredible beauty of the lake and its nature, as you overlook the whole scenery. Could have spend all day just sitting there and enjoy the beauty of it all. Pure joy.

It is right by the golf course and other attractions on Makanga Hill. it takes five min to get down the hill and get into town. The staff is so NICE and accommodating. They go out of their way to help however the can. Truly kind people who provide great service.

Amasiko Homestay Lake Bunyonyi cuenta con un jardín, zona de playa privada, una terraza y bar en Kabale. Everything is good there. I'm a nostalgic person so the stay was worth my liking. The remoteness makes it all comfortable. It cuts you off from the modern world and it's horrors. The staff is so disciplined. The hosts are really great people, when you visit it's like you have become apart of the family. The cottages are really nice. Very well ventilated to keep out bugs. The lake view is awesome. Oh my God the food 😃 It's safe from dangerous animals and reptiles. Star gazing is one of the must-do things while there, it's so beautiful. I could go about it forever.
