This was one of my favourite places in Sao Tome! The bungalow was so nice and the whole property is very beautiful. The owners are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was super good. I really recommend this place and will return when I come back to this island

Incredibly beautiful accommodation right in the heart of jungle. Amazing views and delicious local food served in the restaurant. We were also helped to organise a tour with a guide in Obo park starting from Jardim Botanico. All in all, I would surely stay again in Roça Saudade

GENTE D'AQUI Ngê D'ai êê, ubicado en São Tomé, en la región de Sao Tome Island, a 6 minutos a pie de Praia Izé, tiene alojamiento con wifi gratis, parrilla, un jardín y estacionamiento privado gratis.... Due to an unforeseen change of plans, we booked our stay just a few hours before arriving. Joao contacted me right away via WhatsApp to let us know he wouldn’t be there initially, but he made sure someone was expecting us and ready to greet us. This excellent communication continued throughout our stay. Joao’s hospitality was the standout—he was always available for anything we needed and genuinely cared that we had a great experience. He went out of his way to make sure everything was perfect. Breakfast was delicious, with fresh fruit, bread and eggs, (and even soya yoghurt—which he had gone out especially to get for me as a vegetarian) Our room had a beautiful view of the sea, and we could hear the waves crashing as we fell asleep—I slept really well here. The location is in a village, and although we don’t speak Portuguese, the locals were very friendly. We even enjoyed a drink at the local bar and felt very safe the entire time.

The owner João is a fantastic host. Always present and helpful when needed. The hotel is very peaceful with a beautiful vue over the ocean from most of the rooms which are simple but comfortable, excellent bedding. Silent and efficient fan. The restaurant is good too. The chef prepares fresh dishes everyday and is super nice too.

Monte Mar SãoTomé cuenta con vistas al mar, está ubicado en M. Peixe y tiene un restaurante, servicio a la habitación, bar, jardín y terraza. Todo muy limpio y en muy buenas condiciones . A un minuto andando de la Playa de Tamarindo y vistas espectaculares. Aldinha prepara los Mejores Zumos del País !!! Muy recomendable !

ECO-POR está ubicado en Rio do Ouro y ofrece alojamiento con vistas al río, un jardín, una terraza y un bar. El complejo de cabañas cuenta con wifi y estacionamiento privado sin cargo. I stayed in Eco-Por my last two days in São Tomé. It was just perfect. Felt like I am in middle of tropical forest and I was alone. Beautifully designed, clean home. I had an accident on my way there, ended up in hospital couple of hours as I broke my leg. Arrived there in a taxi with plastered leg. The staff (Rodrigo) did everything to make sure I was okay, checked on me every few hours, brought me me food from village. I managed to get rest in my way long journey home. Place has, I believe no restaurant etc but next to a big village for any need. Couldn’t walk around the area but sitting on my private terrace, looking down to river and listening the nature really made stay there. Breakfast was not included but staff (Fabio, his name I think) made very nice breakfast my two morning there. Many fruit, juice, hot drink, letter and fresh bread was more than enough. Ned was on hard side but was comfortable for me. WiFi, aircon, mini fridge worked very well. It was a perfect way of ending my active holiday in São Tomé.

The cabin was really about the Island style, and Joana and her friends made all their possible to make us having the best experience !! The village and its people are also very nice and kind !

The breakfast was nice, although they could have been more options. The location was perfect, just right in the city center and close to everywhere. I was happy I decided to stay here at the very last minute.
