In Tara guesthouse I found a real family who made me feel like home! The place is gorgeous. I had a huge room and bathroom with hot water, fan, mosquito net and fantastic views, from the balcony. Everything is very clean and you also have a tropical garden to relax and to eat as they also serve delicious homemade food. They can arrange for you all kind of trips in the jungle as well as bus tickets except the elephant ride which obviously is UNETHICAL and we don' t support it. All the above in the best price and with plenty of love! I will be back to Chitwan very soon and one reason is to meet again those wonderful people.

If you want to have a true experience of the Chitwan National Park with the best local guide who is passionate about the jungle and has a ton of knowledge about the wildlife, then this is the best place for you! Bishnu (the owner of the lodge and guide) is truly amazing! He started answering any questions I had even before I arrived at the area. His wife and his kids are truly adorable and they made me feel like being at home. I went with Bishnu in a half day jeep safari and a full day walking (and boat) safari, as well as some other activities like bird watching. Even if we were not lucky enough to see a tiger, we saw many rhinos, deers and monkeys! Bishnu knows every corner of the forest and he was explaining to us every detail and answering any questions we had. While other guides may show you only the basics without putting much effort, Bishnu is trying his best to find the best spots in the jungle so that the guests could have the greatest experience! One day of my 3 days stay, I was the only guest and Bishnu arranged extra activities especially for me so as not to get bored! Last but not least, the food was fresh and homemade, and it was the best food I had in Nepal! These 3 days full of adventure and great hospitality, was the best part of my trip in Nepal and makes me want to visit Nepal and Bishnu again in the future for sure! The owner, Mr. Suraj, runs the property professionally and with utmost hospitality. He also helped planning a variety of activities during my stay in Sauraha : jungle walk and jeep safari. The evening was filled with a Tharu dance cultural program whose venue is right next to the hotel. It was a memorable and pleasant stay for me in Sauraha.

Toilets are clean, shower is hot and in open air which I love. Food is the best I’ve tasted yet. So many amazing treehouses. Host is great. Amazing places to chill (ex. Library, meditation, etc) you can also rent a bike from there. I highly recommend!

El Sapana Village Lodge está rodeado de vegetación y se encuentra a 1 minuto en auto del centro de la ciudad de Sauraha. Ofrece servicio de transfer gratuito de ida y vuelta al lodge. One of the BEST resort I’ve ever stayed in. We were going to give our friend a surprise birthday celebration. Sapana prepared a lovely cake for her, which made all of us extremely touched and happy. Also, having breakfast at the sunlight was an amazing experience, especially surrounded by the local pets Benny, Romey, and two cats.
