We stayed at Smile Jungle Hostel for 3 nights and it was great! A very warm and personal welcome, everything was explained very well. The host Gonzalo and his mother are doing a great job, you would not think they only have started 1 month ago! The hostel is very cosy. Good showers and kitchen. If we needed anything, we could just ask or send a WhatsApp. The breakfast is the best we had so far in de past month. You can see and hear a lot of animals around the hostel. Thank you so much for the great stay! Would recommand it to everyone!

We had a lovely time at Siquirres Mountain Lodge. Inge and her family were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The property and grounds are beautiful. It’s a few miles out of Siquirres but easy to get to by car, and only 10 mins away from the starting point for our white water rafting trip (with Exploradores - which we would also highly recommend! 😄). There is a nice local restaurant less than 5 mins walk down the road, where we ate on both nights. We also took Inge’s horses out for a guided ride which was a lovely experience with beautiful views over the hills to Turialba. All in all a wonderful couple of days - and we would recommend very highly. Thank you! 😄

Ubicado a 6 minutos a pie de Playa Negra, Casa Luce ofrece un jardín, una terraza y alojamiento con aire acondicionado, patio y wifi gratis. Exceptional hosts, that couldn’t have been more welcoming and helpful. The house is lovely, beautiful surroundings, right next to the beach and had everything you could ask for. Spotlessly clean and makes you feel right at home.

We had a wonderful stay in Daneysha and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, well maintained, family friendly and hospitable guesthouse when visiting Tortuguero. Also highly recommend Sergio as a guide to the national park.
