This is a beautiful authentic Tunisian apartment with everything you need, lots of kitchen appliances and crockery, plenty of fresh towels and bed linen, excellent location, close to beach just a 5 minute walk, close to supermarket and ATM. The outside roof terrace was a real bonus. The owners Delande and Rida are excellent hosts and went over and beyond with any queries, always on end of phone if I needed anything, even giving me a ride back to airport, they treated me like family and I will be forever grateful to them. I will return to this beautiful apartment

People make holidays, and the staff exceeded expectations. I do not tend to take telephone numbers when travelling, certainly not from staff. However, I have taken 3 staff members to keep in touch with. It was out of season, but the staff couldn't do enough to make our stay enjoyable. Most of the time, we were the only people staying at the hotel, but we received a full hotel service. It is a shame other travellers do not come to Djerba out of season. The weather is OK and the island is good to explore.

This is truly the most friendly and welcoming place that I have ever stayed in. Nothing is too much trouble for Erica and Amira. We experienced the real Djerba, with fantastic traditional food, shown the best places to shop and guided tours around parts of the island.

    The house feels like a home away from home, there is everything you might need. One could actually stay home and cook BBQs by the pool in the evening, as we did for two nights. Location is great, one minute walk to the beach. In a quiet, calm and peaceful area. It was definitely worth the money we paid. We look forward to returning. Well done to the owners of Dar El Bhar.
