It was one of my best stays in Sri Lanka! The host is extremely nice, friendly and thoughtful! I got sunstroke before I arrived and there was even a thermometer in the villa! The host has a lovely smile and is a great cook - I had one of the best sambols in Sri Lanka over there! I even got a present from the host cause she makes some art you can see in the villa which btw was beautiful and spotlessly clean. Everything worked properly. You get a western standard for the Sri Lankan price.

Absolutely stunning hotel with beautiful views. Just outside the town so very peaceful and a great place to get some rest! The pool is great and the hosts could not do more to help and make our stay amazing! Would highly recommend!

The stay was amazingly great ! The staff was friendly,caring and professional. The rooms are spacious and with the latest amenities. The view to the pool and to the balconies were breathtaking. When they ask about food preferences one week before the stay, we ask for western food for both dinner and breakfast and they arrange a mouthwatering christmas eve dinner table for our family of 15 people with a three course sit down menu. So the stay went so great and amazing.

I stayed at "Kandy City Village" for one night and it was my best stay in Sri Lanka. Mr Sulthan with the help of his family has maintained this property in a perfect way. Everything was excellent about this property and about my stay as well. I called Sulthan from the stop where AC bus from Dambulla had dropped me and let him talk to a Tuk Tuk driver at the stop. Then I easily reached the property in a few hundred rupees. Later on he recommended a very good restaurant for dinner that was at 15 minutes walk. The food at "Light House Restaurant" was delicious and cheap. Next morning, Sultan asked his friend Razzak to take me to the places of my choice in Kandy on his Tuk Tuk. Razzak is a nice person who took me to the Ambulawawa Tower, the Kandy lake and a few places in market and finally dropped me at the bus stand for Nuwara Eliya. Razzak did all that at a reasonable cost and with maximum cooperation. Thank you Sulthan for all your hospitality and for introducing to a nice person like Razzak.
