Stunning, brand-new, incredibly friendly hotel. First of all, this property looks exactly like it is in the pictures: private, luxurious, comfortable, and beautiful. There are only 11 rooms including the superior room with a huge terrace. All rooms have balconies or terraces, so you can enjoy your time looking at the beach and ocean waves or busy and funny Hikka’s streets. In your room, you will have everything you might possibly need. You won’t want to leave that bed, it's so comfortable and was made for your best sleep. The pool is big and clean, you will have plenty of options for where to get your tan: on big beds, on covered or open chaise lounges, on the grass, or near the pool. The territory itself isn't that big, but it's well taken care of, clean and functional. You can get access to the 360• view terrace or enjoy some time in the gym. There is a bar and a kitchen for your comfort, you should definitely get some milkshakes and Caesar salad! We have walked near almost every hotel on Hikkaduwa’s beaches and even big, branded and famous ones aren’t even close to Dormero. As for breakfast, you can get a traditional one or choose one of many options, including omelets, bowls, sandwiches, waffles, and many more. No matter what you choose, it will be delicious. And it is very hard to even start talking about personnel. Everyone there has only one goal: to make your stay as good as possible. There are some securities, who constantly check on the property’s safety; barmen, who will make you the best cocktails; cleaners, who will clean up the room every day… And Franziska! What an angel! She will help you with ANYTHING, she will become the best hotel manager in your life, you won’t want to leave just because of her 🥹 We loved them all! (Also, there is a cute dog Kiki and monitor lizard that checks on you while you are getting sunbaths ☺️ ).

A stunning hotel with beautiful garden/facilities/pool. The staff go above and beyond for you. They made our stay amazing. Delicious breakfast/lunch. They now serve dinner on Wednesdays however it is super easy to get a tuktuk to local restaurants for evening meals. 10/10 recommend. Thanks for having us!

The staff were super friendly and accommodating. We had a welcome juice and unlike other places could take card or cash. The jungle setting and location was quiet a d tranquil and I loved the surroundings. Birds, palm squirrels and the accommodation's dog added to the experience. The room was big and spacious with a back patio area to have drinks and look at the jungle. Tea and coffee and toiletries came with the room, toilet roll. Some places haven't so just thought it was worth mentioning. I loved the outdoor pool and the general outdoor area. I chilled with a book outside.

Owner is very friendly. Gave us information on places to go, places to eat and how to arrive. Facilities in this accomodation are great which also includes pool and parking and location is perfect to be at the centre of everything. Owner was also very accomodationg to our requests. Very beautiful place, it was lovely and tidy when me an my family got there no hassle at all very straight forward, nice restaurants nearby at a low cost, felt very cozy and warm inside the villa, has a great beach nearby too so you can have a nice relaxing chill by the beach! The person who deals with the property was very helpful and kind wpupd go out his way to help and make sure all is okay! such a great experience will definitely go again! Highly recommend this place to anyone! Great food. Great price just great all round! Many thanks!!!!

A very nice and helpful lady welcomed us to the property which is in a great location only a short walk to the town centre and beach.The room was huge very well furnished and spotlessly clean with a super-sized very comfortable bed.The house is only a few months old and is beautiful we enjoyed a very good few days there and will definitely stay here again when we are in Hikkaduwa highly reccomended

Wonderful stay! The owners are super sweet and incredibly accommodating. We had an amazing time! The placement off the villa is perfect 10 minutes walk from narigame beach. Our favorite beach of hikkaduwa. But still u got the rest and serenity off you own appartment. The host were kind enough to let us in the villa early and let us stay later! The host came to bring us a coconut everyday.
