The family was very kind and Yansen was great guide. Yansen showed us all the interesting places around Rantepao and shared his personal knowledge and experiences about the culture which was super interesting. The food in homestay was the best food I have had in Indonesia. The location was peaceful and beautiful.

We had a great time at Villa Bait Lino, Lukas and his family are very nice people and invested to make you spend a good time. The place is beautiful, you sleep just in front of the rices fields and the mountains. I absolutely recommend this place to discover the toraja culture. Also i would recommand Marco as a guide to help you discover Toraja, he is a very nice person, commited to his work and he'll tell you everything you need to know about the toraja culture.

A true family home, away from home. The hospitality I met was unbelievable. I felt this was a true homestay and probably the best I have ever experienced! Meyske is a true encyclopedia of local history and culture (a licensed guide) I left wiser and happier than I could ever imagine. All my dreams about Toraja came true and I was taken care of like family and it’s amazing how easy and natural everything felt during my stay and I had only one regret, when I left! That I didn’t stay longer. Book early and remember to book your guided tour with Meyske at the same time and the adventure becomes a reality and fulfilled!
