Everything was amazing. The people who work there were the nicest people we have ever met! So nice and helpful. The room was adorable, bathroom was amazing and the bed was so comfortable. They try their best to help you have an amazing stay and even an amazing trip, we got a few recommendations of beaches/places to visit and they were lovely. Definitely would stay here again, I loved every day I was there. Has an amazing ac btw!

What a wonderful experience I had staying in this lovely historic house! I had it all to myself. It felt very indulgent. It's full of character, cool and quiet. A true delight. The quirky little nook underneath the house was a real treat. It's incredible value for money and in great location. If you're driving there, be prepared to navigate some of Gjirokaster's narrow, cobbled streets! The host was very friendly, helpful, quick to respond to queries, and so clearly proud of the traditional Gjirokaster house, which has been in his family for over 300 years old. 1800's may not be to everyone's liking, but I loved it, and I would stay again!

It’s a guesthouse run by a family. Who host you with all passion and respect. During sightseeing the city I stumbled my ankle. And the host made my recovery comfortable with some ice. For the evening and a gel pack for the night. The next day I was able to hike again. It has an incredible view to the castle from the terrace!

The traditional Albanian breakfast was homemade and delicious! It was so filling we didn’t need lunch on those days! We also enjoyed the mountain tea. On our return from a tiring day at the castle and old town we were greeted with afternoon tea. Very reasonably priced.

    We booked it because it was among the few pet friendly options in Gjirokaster (even though at the end we didn’t bring the dog), it was the best choice we could have made. A spacious villa with a yard entirely for us with free parking. The center is not even 5 mins walk away. We were very happy with the service and communication with our host. Whenever we go back to Gjirokaster, we know where to go 😊
